The Tucson airport opened in 1919 and was the first municipally owned airport in the United States. Commercial air service started in 1928 with Standard Airlines, which later became American Airlines. The airfield was used during World War II by the United States Army Air Corps. The current airport covers an area of 8,244 acres and contains three runways. In 2008 the East Concourse became Concourse A, comprising of Gates A1-A9. The West Concourse became Concourse B, comprising of Gates B1-B11. At this time the international arrival area was relocated to Concourse A, whereas before it existed as a seperate terminal. Textures for the L-188 in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The freeware L-188 by Libardo Guzman is needed for this repaint. PWA operated a total of 4 L-188s from 1971 to 1976. This aircraft is CF-PWG which flew for PWA from 1972 to 1976. I have included DXT3 textures, which will enable the FS2004 users to fly this plane. Just copy the DXT3 textures in the enclosed folder, then paste them into the main L-188 folder, overwriting the files there.

Textures for the L-188 in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The freeware L-188 by Libardo Guzman is needed for this repaint. PWA operated a total of 4 L-188s from 1971 to 1976. This aircraft is the most intersting of the four. They nicknamed it the "Silver Bullet". It was a fuel tanker and was used to support the arctic oil exploration projects. It was unique in that fuel tankers were rare and this aircraft had the name and logo painted over the shiny unpainted aircraft. I have included DXT3 textures, which will enable the FS2004 users to fly this plane. Just copy the DXT3 textures in the enclosed folder, then paste them into the main L-188 folder, overwriting the files there. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX boxed & FS 2004.

Textures for the Manfred Jahn DC-3 in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by is needed for this repaint. Seven DC-3s flew with Pacific Western from about 1953 till 1972. CF-PWI was with them from 1956 to 1972. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-v3.

Textures for the Tinmouse Boeing 737-200 in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The freeware Tinmouse 737-200 is needed for this repaint. Pacific Western operated more 737-200s than any other type. In fact, they had 40 737-200s in their fleet over the years. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should work on FSX & FSX-SE.

Textures for the CalClassics DC-7C in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The freeware Cal Classic DC-7C by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. Pacific Western operated four DC-7s, and this DC-7C was with the airline from 1964 to 1969. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should work on FS2004, FSX & FSX-SE.

Textures for the TDS Boeing 727-100 in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The freeware 727-100 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Canadian airline Pacific Western was formed in 1945 under the name Central British Columbia Airways, and they initially only undertook contract work. In 1953 however, they started their first scheduled service and changed their name to Pacific Western Airlines. Over the years they acquired many smaller airlines, and by the 1980s they were Canada's third largest airline. Their route network consisted of domestic Canadian flights. They also operated charters to many countries, and had a vast network of cargo flights, in which they served 90 airports worldwide. In 1987 Pacific Western purchased CP Air, Canada's second largest carrier at the time, and they consequently named the new airline Canadian Airlines International. In 2000 they were taken over and merged into Air Canada. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should work on FSX & FSX-SE.

For Father's Day in the USA. Take off and fly the Red Bull Air Race in an Extra 300S from Nephisasia airport in TOKYO, JAPAN. The mission is listed as an advanced level mission in the racing category. The 13 gate Pylon course has been numbered according to the path given in the required small (1.76mb) scenery addon available recently in Simviation. A good time for completion of the race course is
