This was inspired by the Air Crash Investigations series. I first tried to establish if the NTSB actually does have their own planes to travel to air crash sites with, but unfortunately the only thing that my Internet searches showed was endless amounts of photos of crashed planes. I therefore wrapped my mind around the idea and came up with this fictitious version. I hope that you’ll enjoy flying it as much as I do. As with my earlier package that contained Desert Storm Tornadoes, I also realized that now someone might want to have a nice Desert Storm Buccaneer package as well. As with that package I also re-drew all the Nose-arts and Pirate Flags where necessary to the best of my abilities, and it is thus not a copy & paste business from a photograph. Most available photographs from that era are not of good quality anyway. I trust that you’ll enjoy flying these specimens as much as I do. All credit to UKMIL for an excellent product.

FSX/P3D >v3 & 4 Boeing 787-9 Norwegian Long Haul package with new enhanced VC. Norwegian is a low cost carrier based in Norway and currently (2017) has 2 Boeing 787-9 in operation with orders for a further 19. The high detail native FSX Boeing 787-9 from TDS will be enjoyed by many more people who do not know how to install a VC into a FSX native model. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model blended with Ken Wiggington's revisions for the default B737 VC to make it more resemble a 787. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing sounds included for that extra realism. Follow the Hamathko river in a Cessna 208B while being buffeted around by strong winds and rain. Land at Scar Creek Airport and pick up cargo pods for some mountaineers camped on the summit of a nearby mountain. The flight to and from the camp is through dense storm cloud with zero visibility, rain, lightning and mountains on either side, so choose your flight path carefully by referring to the GPS terrain map and if you use the autopilot, select the correct vertical speed for the accent. If you take the wrong route you may come short. After successfully dropping the cargo pod return to Scar Creek, but make sure the route you take will line you up for the correct approach.

Full working VC, working wipers, with groundhandling gauge and built in FMC. Added exits for Jetways (press Ctrl J) and better Thomas Ruth VC with updates by Chris Evans and Louis Quintero. Take off in one of 4 aircraft from Mariposa-Yosemite airport in Mariposa and fly to Mammoth Yosemite airport in Mammoth Lakes, California, USA. Choices of aircraft are Bell Jet Ranger Helicopter, Cessna 172 Skyhawk, Cessna Grand Caravan or Maule Orion. There is a small download (that is optional but recommended) from Flightsim for several nice waterfalls.

FSX/Acceleration/FS2004 (probably also P3Dv3) German U-Boat Type XXI. It was a class of German diesel-electric submarines from 1943-45 with a length of 76.7 m. It was the most sophisticated submarine that time with a great hydrodynamical design for conning tower, hull and guns which allowed up to 17 knots submerged speed, improved batteries and powerfull 3.700 kw electro motors allowed a range of 15500 nmi. The technic included snorkel, sonar- and radar detectors and a radar transmitter plus an electric torpedo-reloading system. The boat entered the war too late to succeed in any battle but the design directly influenced advanced post-war submarines of nations like USA, UK, France and Soviet Union. The only surviving boat is Wilhelm Bauer (ex. U-2540) which is now a museum ship in Bremerhaven/Germany. The FS-model has many animations including sub merging. 2D periscope panel graphics combined with camera views allows 360° look around and zoom functions plus watching the submerging from the eyepoint of the commander. From the attack periscope a torpedo, with a delayed explosion effect, can be launched. Optional ten more original submarine sounds can be activated by R.L. Clark's sound switches like: Rough sea, hatch, merging, diving, submerging, sonar-pings, torpedo launch and attackes by depth charges; even movie soundtrack is possible. Some extra sounds are included but due to the copyrights some specials sounds are not included but they can all easyly downloaded at boataces.com.
