Pontarlier is an airfield located in Franche Comté,in the East of France almost on the border with Switzerland. There is a lot of magnificent montains surrounding beautiful lakes and historical places like the nearby Fort de Joux where Toussain Louverture, the revolutionnary leader of Haiti, was jailed by Napoleon.

The ER-2 (sometimes called Yer-2 or Jer-2) went into production in late 1940. A total of approx. 458 examples being built. The Er-2 was popular in service with its crews, and participated in many heroic encounters. Er-2s played a key role in the Defense of Moscow, took part in the bombing of Berlin, and conducted very long duration patrols over the Baltic coastline, almost always without escort. This folder contains a repaint for the payware MAAM-Sim B-25J 'briefing time', in the colors of N5-180 'Ada' of the 18th BS, Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force, Australia 1944. The aircraft took part in a few long distance reconaissance raids over Java. To give the people in the internment camps some support, the aircraft were equipped with extra large Dutch flags on the fuselage and below the wings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

This folder contains a repaint for the MAAM-Sim B-25J 'briefing time', in the colors of an aircraft of #13, an aircraft of the 445th BS, 321st BG, based in Falconara, Italy, 1945 as piloted by Captain Henry Miller. The aircraft flew over 120 mission, and returned to the States after the war. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
