Ilyushin Il-96M Demonstrator Updated Package
Ilyushin Il-96M Demonstrator Updated Package (Category: FSX > Civil Jets)
55.81Mb (4898 downloads)
The Il-96M was to be a westernized export version. Due to political issues, no orders have yet been placed. This is an update to the Kirill Konovalov FS2004 Ilyushin IL-96M house demonstrator. The Il-96 400 vc was included in the model and the textures were converted to DDS by ricardo_tv. I restored the original PW-2337 engine sounds. Both the 2D and VC panels have non-metric PFD, standby gauges, and autopilot. The MFD and EICAS displays are original Kirill Konovalov Il-96 300/400 gauges. Includes both 2D and VC panels.

Breguet 1001 Taon 5 Aircraft Package
Breguet 1001 Taon 5 Aircraft Package
Breguet 1001 Taon 5 Aircraft Package (Category: FSX > Military)
31.26Mb (3225 downloads)
FSX / FS2004 Breguet 1001 Taon, full package with 5 aircraft, by Patrice Grange. The Breguet 1001 Taon was one of the competitors in 1953 for an European/NATO 'LWSF' (Light Weight Strike Fighter) role. The company was contracted to build three prototypes, the first aircraft flying on the 26 July 1957. The aircraft did set an international speed record for a 1,000 km (620 mi) closed circuit, it achieved a speed of 1,046.65 km/h (650.36 mph) at 7,620 m (25,000 ft) on 25 April 1958. On 23 July, the record was broken again with a speed of 1,075 km/h (667.98 mph). Despite these amazing performances, the Breguet 1001 Taon, like several other great aircraft during this period, never went beyond the stage of prototype... This package is complete and stand-alone. The models have full moving parts and animations (control surfaces, gears, spoilers, canopy, pilot ladder, etc.) and a complete virtual cockpit and a custom 2D panel.

FSX Reduced Clouds Environment (Category: FSX > Scenery)
5.39Mb (2977 downloads)
Mike Kelly's reduced clouds. The link for this zip file and the webpage is down, so uploaded here. From the text file included: "Here is an attempt at improving FSX framerates by reducing the size of the cloud textures. All texture dimensions have been reduced by 50%. Alpha channels have also been reduced and preserved. I have seen no ill effects on my system although the reduced clouds do seem slightly more "fuzzy". IMHO this is not bad, just different. Simply unzip into your Texture folder and overwrite the existing files (you may want to back them up first to preserve the originals)."
