RAF Acaster Malbis was developed from a small grass airfield at the begining of the Second World War and its main use was as a training base for RAF Bomber Command before being used by RAF Maintenance Command from 1944 until 1957.

This is the Project Opensky FSX native Boeing 747-400 model, and includes ground cargo servicing, stairs, opening nose section and more. FSX Macchi C.205 package. The Veltro was derived from the C.202 Folgore with the installation of a german Daimler-Benz 605 serie engine. Fast, manouvrable, reliable, it had comparable performances with the Bf109G series. Served mostly in the mediterranean theatre 1943-44. Top speed of 640 km/h at 5600 m, Climb to 2000 m in 1'28'', to 6000 m in 5'55''. Armament was of 2x12.7mm nose section plus 2x 20mm in the wings.
