MiG 21 Fishbed - Egyptian Air Force
(Category: CFS1 > Modern Aircraft)
0.27Mb (995 downloads)
CFS Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG 21 Fishbed in Egyptian Air Force (EAF) Livery.
The MiG-21 was used extensively in the Middle East conflicts of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s by the air forces of Egypt, Syria and Iraq. The MiG-21 first encountered Israeli Mirage IIICs on 14 November 1964, but it wasn't until 14 July 1966 that the first MiG-21 was shot down. Another six Syrian MiG-21s were shot down by Israeli Mirages on 7 April 1967. The MiG-21 would also face F-4 Phantom IIs and A-4 Skyhawks, but was later outclassed by the more modern F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon, which were acquired by Israel beginning in the mid-1970s.
I have included a damage profile for use with CFS1, with armament of GSh-23 twin barrelled 23mm cannon, rockets and bombs, and repainted as MiG 21 Fishbed Egyptian Air Force, tan/green/grey camouflaged.
FS98 Aircraft Designer: Mike Hill.
Egyptian's textures, moving parts and damage profile: Edmundo Abad Dec. 2009
Also special thanks to Juan Concha & Roberto Ibarra, former FACH officers, by the great provided information for the development of this virtual model.

The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden fighter was a World War II Japanese propeller-driven aircraft prototype that was built in a canard design. The wings were attached to the tail section and stabilizers were on the front. The propeller was also in the rear, in a pusher configuration. It was expected to be a highly maneuverable interceptor, but only two were finished before the end of war.
Original design for FS5/FSFS: 'flyman' Yusaku Honma.
Reworked to CFS with new textures, moving parts, BMP textures, damage profile, and air file: Edmundo Abad.

The Lisunov Li-2, originally designated PS-84 (NATO reporting name Cab), was a URSS license-built version of the Douglas DC-3.
The main external difference with the USA DC-3 is the passenger door located at the right side of the fuselage (animated on this virtual plane), with a top-opening cargo door on the left side in place of the original passenger door.
This virtual model have the markings #049 of Normandie-Niemen (Free French Unit fo Soviet Air Force) LI-2 ground crew trasport.

This is an update for FS9 of the AI Lockheed
Neptune by Jaap de Baare. He has supplied
me with a model file for it that has the jet
engines uncovered. I have made it flyable
and updated the flight dynamics, added a
panel, and added smoke for the jets. This is
the whole aircraft. No virtual cockpit.
