Bocono Airport (SVBK), Venezuela
(Category: FSX > Scenery)
10.29Mb (1360 downloads)
Small airport located in the Venezuelan Andes. The highest airport in Venezuela, with an elevation of 5085 feet. Ideal for VFR flights, with a very dangerous approximation. To use this scenario properly, you must have a good "mesh terrain" scenery. Includes terminal building, control tower, hangar, heliport, with very realistic textures. Also includes a detailed VFR scenery with vehicular traffic, approximately 12 nm, around to the airport.

Ryan Navion L-17 "Canelita" FACH

FS98/CFS Ryan Navion L-17
Chilean Air Force - Fuerza Aerea de Chile.
The Ryan Navion L-17 is one of the most unknown planes of the Chilean Air Force.
All the information that I could find, has by source a profile published in the Revista Fach (Magazine of Chilean Air Force) N¨U 152, 1980.
The Chilean Ryan Navion L-17 registration #01 was in service between 1948 to 1961. This plane was used as presidential plane by Carlos Iba¡Àez del Campo and Jorge Alessandri Rodriguez, on quick internal travels, mainly during earthquakes and other natural disasters.
The Ryan Navion was known with the own name of "Canelita" (little cinnamon), due to that the big presidential plane, the Douglas DC-3 #901, were called "Canela" (cinnamon).

North American AT-6G Texan FACH
(Category: CFS1 > Aircraft)

FS98/CFS North American AT-6G Texan.
Chilean Air Force - Fuerza Aerea de Chile.
The North American AT-6 (late T-6) Texan was a single-engine advanced trainer aircraft used on this and other duties, in service in the Chilean Air Force between 1942 to 1978.
The North American AT-6G was used as advanced trainer (AT) during the years 40s-50s, flown by the chilean pilots, at Escuela de Aviaci¾n Capitßn Avalos. It was the third phase of the three phase training program for pilots. After basic training (BT) in the Vultee BT-13, the student pilot moved to the more complex AT-6G for advanced flight training.
Also, equipped with hardpoints was used for light attack, homebased at Grupo N║1, Iquique.
Converted to CFS1 and repainted in three different textures :
1) T-6G FACH # 269 on desert camouflage, Grupo N║1, Iquique.
2) T-6G FACH # 285 on "trainer yellow" color, preserved in the aeronautical museum at Cerrillos.
3) T-6G FACH # 297 all silver, Escuela de Aviaci¾n Capitßn Avalos.
I have included a panel, moving parts and damage profile for use with CFS1, with armament of two 0.30 machine guns (left leading edge and rear cockpit), rockets and bombs.

Also special thanks to Juan Concha & Roberto Ibarra, former FACH officers, by the great provided information for the development of this virtual model.

A-1H Skyraider
(Category: CFS2 > Post WW2 Aircraft)
3.13Mb (2252 downloads)
The Douglas AD-2 Skyraider went into service in 1946 and served in the Korean War. She continued with the Navy, Marines and Air Force through Viet Nam into the mid 1970s. She was known as Skyraider, but more frequently referred to a Able Dog and SPAD, an acronym for Special Purpose Attack Douglas or Special Purpose Able Dog. SPAD is also a reference to such an aged prop job still flying in the age of jets. And she took down at least one MiG fighter in a gun duel over Viet Nam.
This model in it's original simplified form first appeared in the Fox Four Red Star campaign as an AI. She was created by FangVV, Hayden Scott-Williams, AIR/CFG by Indio Black, Mike Eustace, DP by myself. I have upgraded/updated the source file to player level.
Textures are by Sopwith Chameleon, James Peach. http://sopwithc.wetpaint.com
The skin represents an aircraft of the Special Operations Wing flying out of Da Nang during the VN conflict.
The model is multi-LOD. She carries a complex panel by Mike Eustace...be sure to read the Panel Instrucitons, and has a rudimentary DVC. Her weapons are by Bbolt and Martin Wright.
Installation: Simply place all of the files contained in the folders/subfolders of the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 main directory.
This is freeware, but must not be uploaded to any other site or modified without permission.
