Boeing 747-8 part 3
Boeing 747-8 part 3
Boeing 747-8 part 3 (Category: FSX > Civil Jets)
179.86Mb (2252 downloads)
This package contains 4 parts with HiRes Retro liveries for most of the airplanes. Model by Skyspirit. The main files (model, panel, sound) and base textures for all airplanes are included in part 1, they are necessary for all other liveries. Part 2 contains AAF and AUA, part 3 Aeroflot, KLM, Lufthansa, SAL (SAA) and SAS, part 4 comes with AAL, PanAm, United and USAF. Finally all textures are fictional, AAF, AAL, Aeroflot, KLM, SAL, SAS, United and USAF have no 747-8, Lufthansa has no 747-8 with Retro livery and PanAm don't exist anymore. Anyways, most of the liveries exist or existed on real airplanes, are well researched and represent how a 747-8 could look like this. The textures are completely overworked and have 4096px² now, corrected doors, new windows, new joints, new lines, more details, new fans, new wheels, new pilots, new lights, new shading, new ground handling ..... The "aircraft.cfg" is overworked too, I corrected small things and the contact points, the airplane (even the freighter) touches the ground now. I don't like the annoying PW, PR or GE sounds, therefore there's no sound included, I use the default B737_800 sound, it's simply relaxing. The panel is modified as well, the pesky GPWS is removed, but it's done for flying with outside view. If you prefer flying with inside views, you don't need this package anyways. Additional I did Screenshots (JPG) and wallpapers (PNG) of each livery with 10800x6075px and smaller ones for single (2560x1440px) and dual monitors (5120x1440). Happy flying and enjoy, greetz, Dag@bert.

I have made a number of these. Modest interest here... A.I.R Atos VR Hang Glider starting at over 18,000' near Mt. Elbus, Russia. Choice of landing at 1 of 5 airports at 53 to 84 nm from liftoff. A map is included to help in your decision before flight. Suggest you up the sim rate as soaring is only at about 20-25 knts.

FSX DeHavilland-AST DHC6-300A (Floats) (Category: FSX > Props)
21.85Mb (1144 downloads)
This is an updated and improved version of Barry Blaisdell’s (PAD) ‘FS9_AST_DHC6_Amphibian.zip’ package of 2006. I have some beautiful snaps of a Twin Otter that operates in the Maldives and when I stumbled across this package I knew I had to do a texture set to depict it. This package includes Barry's original texture and my all new Maldives one. I have tweaked it for use in FSX. I just can't get it to remain still in the water while at idle - if someone have a solution, please drop me a mail with a fix?

FSX Curtiss P-40Q Warhawk Updated & Improved
28.92Mb (1069 downloads)
This is an updated and improved version of Tim ‘Piglet’ Conrad’s ‘fsx_curtissP40Q.zip’ package that also includes an improved panel by Mr. Pook and subsequent mods by Mr. Scrub whom have included an extra texture to stand in for the lower tail-plane surfaces (something that was missing in the original offering as only 1 texture was mapped to both the upper and lower surfaces of the tail-planes, thus making it possible to do an extra texture of the semi-camouflaged Evaluation Prototype version. One Texture from Tim’s original offering as well as my previous set and my latest set is included.
