Captain Igmar Schroonk set course west 23 degrees right toward the South American coast. He now realized that this was the end and the only possible course for survival. After a week of very slow passage and on a sunny day at the bridge of the boat, Hans Slother noticed, in his binoculars, the green coast of Brazil and called his captain. That night at 12 miles from the mouth of the great Amazon River Igmar called his crew and told them his plan, which he had very carefully elaborated. “ This is my proposal” he said to the outlook of all the men in the darkened submarine...”We get into the river during the night and slip through any observation post, if there are any, then proceed very slowly up river”...............it was 1944

Originally created by Manuele Villa for FS2004 (No VC). Textures for all five gliders in the original package (types A, B & C) updated for FSX in the dds format by Henry Rastouil (2) and Ross McLennan (3). This German assault glider, developed by Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug (DFS)/ German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight, was used for the first time during the operation against the Belgian Fort Eben-Emael near Maastricht (May 10, 1940). They were also used during the Krete invasion (Maleme, 1941), in the Western Desert and on the Russian Front for transport purposes. Were used to deliver Otto Skorzeny's commandos against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel to rescue the imprisoned Mussolini (Sept 12, 1943). The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received almost 20 DFS 230's, but they were used only for training. UPDATED FSX PACKAGE (September 2010): Also includes a JU52 Military Version from the JU52 Factory (Managing Director: Pierino Primavesi) as the AI tow aircraft updated for FSX. I am very proud to present this detailed repaint of the Project Opensky A330-343X, registration AZ-HQB, of Saudi Arabian Airlines. This is one of Saudi's first 4 343X models of the A330. All were delivered this year (2010) new from Airbus. Delivery of this airframe, registration HZ-AQB, was taken by Saudi Arabian on June 28, 2010. Saudi Arabian Airlines is the national airline of Saudi Arabia, based in Jeddah. It provides scheduled service to over 70 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. This particular airframe has been recently flying to Istanbul (LTBA) from Jeddah (OEJN). This repaint has many custom textures. All windows are hand-painted, 3D with window shades. The night windows textures and other night textures are custom as well. Engine textures, engine fans, fuselage shading and tail textures are all custom. Also, the wheels and tires are custom and hand drawn. The main gear wheels are as real as I could get them. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete installation package; version 2004.8.3 of the Project Opensky A330-300 V2 model is included. Repaint by Jeffrey S. Bryner, Model by Project Opensky.
