Italian Bombs for CFS2
Italian Bombs for CFS2
Italian Bombs for CFS2 (Category: CFS2 > Misc)
0.04Mb (1024 downloads)
This zip file contains four different bombs modeled after Italian WW2 bombs. The most notable difference in Italian Bombs from all other countries was the tailring which was made of corrugated metal. The bombs were constructed with FSDS using measurements and drawings from the only source I could find on this subject on the internet. They do resemble the few photos I can find. Contains a 500kg, 250kg, 100kg and 50kg bomb. I cannot find any diagram of the 800kg or the 24kg bomb. If I had the diagrams I would make them too . . .

Yak 3M82
Yak 3M82 (Category: FSX > Vintage)
6.18Mb (6055 downloads)
FS2004/FSX Yak 3-M-82 warbird. The yak-3 and its derivates had a very long service life and many were used after the end of WW2. In an attempt to increase performance while avoiding the overheating problems of the VK-107 and VK-108 liquid cooled engine variants, the single "Yak-3M-82" was built, fitted with the Shvetsov M-82 two-row fourteen cylinder radial engine, used on the La-5 fighter, and first flown in May 1945. Performance was very good and the aircraft was extremely agile, but with jet fighters coming on line, there was no push to develop the concept further, and the project was abandoned in October 1945. The prototype reached 682 km/h (424 mph) at 6,000 m (19,685 ft) and contributed directly to the Yak-11. GMAX model by A.F.Scrub.

Nakajima Kikka Upgrade (Category: CFS1 > Modern Aircraft)
0.39Mb (987 downloads)
New version with moving flaps and landing gear. The Nakajima Kikka (Orange Blossom), was clearly inspired by the German Me 262 jet fighter, and was the only World War II Japanese jet aircraft capable of taking off under its own power. Development of the Kikka ended four days after with the Japanese surrender. Original design: 'flyman' Yusaku Honma. Original Me-262 Panel: Bernd Drefahl. Original Me-262 Gauges: Stefan Geissler.
