Repaint for "iris_easter_eggs_2013_fsx" "IRIS Flight Simulation Software" "Bombardier's Global 7000 and the Global 8000 were launched together at NBAA in October 2010 as derivatives of the Global 6000 program. The aircraft completed its first flight Nov. 4, 2016, marking the start of a rigorous flight-testing program. Entry-into-service of the large jet was scheduled in the second half of 2018. The Global 7000 has a four-zone cabin and will carry up to 12 passengers. It features 14 windows on each side of the fuselage - One more than the legacy Global Express and one less than the 6000. The Global 7000 also features the high swept supercritical wing with winglets and a high swept T-tail. As far as performance, the Global 7000 is powered by GE Aviation Passport engines and has a range of 7,400 nm and a top speed of 530 knots. The two GE Passport engines are side mounted at the rear of the aircraft. The Global 7000, which was priced at about $73 million is indeed large. The cabin (not including the baggage compartment) is 54 feet, seven inches long; six feet, three inches tall; and eight feet, two inches wide. Aft of the galley, the passenger area is divided into four distinct living areas. Depending on the layout, they can include a seating area, a dining or meeting area, a cinema room, and a bedroom. In April 2018, the Global 7000 and its cabin won a Red Dot in the Ships, Trains and Planes category of this year’s Red Dot Design Award, ainternational competition conducted annually since 1955 by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. As judging criteria, the 39-member jury looked at each product’s levels of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics, and durability."

P3D/FSX Viking CL-415 Aero-Flite Repaint Pack
P3D/FSX Viking CL-415 Aero-Flite Repaint Pack
2.69Mb (553 downloads)
The Viking (formerly Bombardier/Candair) CL-215/415 has been an infamous symbol of aerial firefighting for decades. Operators around the world have used the 215/415 platform to success. Interestingly, a part of the world that never saw much use of the 415 was the United States. Many have speculated it was one of a few reasons, the very high cost of the CL-415 and the US' already large and diverse air tanker fleet. All that changed when Aero-Flite of Spokane, Washington acquired 4 CL-415s and became the first US owned fleet of the CL-415s. With competition for more air tankers in the US has allowed for the successful integration into the USFS' contract system. The CL-415 is capable of over 3 hour loiter times and can deliver over 1,600 gallons of water, with an additional foam additive injected into it's scooped water load. Which makes for a very unique initial attack platform as well as extended attack. The 415 has been used successfully in the US before. Los Angeles County has leased 2 aircraft from Canada quite frequently in the past and present to bolster is's large rotary wing fleet. This pack represents all 4 of Aero-Flite's CL-415s as of late 2019. T-260, 261, 262, and 263 respectively. Repaints by: Nicholas Mitchell

HMS Bounty and HMS Victory AI Ships
HMS Bounty and HMS Victory AI Ships
HMS Bounty and HMS Victory AI Ships (Category: FSX > Misc)
7.36Mb (555 downloads)
HMS Bounty and HMS Victory AI Ships - FSX Native by Milton Shupe, Rob Barendregt, Nigel Richards AI INSTALLATION: Put these two AI Ships folders in your FSX/SimObjects/Boats folder and set up routes as desired: VEH_water_HMSBounty VEH_water_HMSVictory FUNCTION: The AI Bounty and AI Victory ships will: Stow sails when stopped/docked/mooring; Show/stow anchors as conditions require; Animate Main sails and yard arms and in-line stays/jibs/spankers to agree with wind direction/flag at least to the +-50 degree port/starboard stops. The Victory will show studsails when conditions are right (running ahead of the wind and yard arms +-10 degrees). Since AI movement is not actual wind or propelled movements, when wind is coming from the front of the ships or in the Dead Zone, yard arms will remain in a maximum port or starboard position. This has no effect on forward speeds. You can also download the full sailable HMS Bounty and HMS Victory packages from Sim-outhouse.com, Simviation.com, or Flightsim.com. The Victory package also offers a fully functional Multiplayer version. These ships can be set up with AI routes, or in AICarriers as formations. Using the AI versions allow anchors, sails, and sail positioning with the wind direction. Do NOT use the regular sailable versions for AI as these functions will not work. Milton Shupe November 2019
