Repaint of the VB P-51B Mustang with the Malcom hood (complete
aircraft) is intended to represent a Mustang of the 353rd FG,
8th AF. It was named LUCKY LEAKY II. This plane lost an engine and
bellied in at Raydon in May 1945, and was destroyed. I have several
books, mostly Squadron Signal publications, that show pictures of
this plane. I thought it would be a great repaint, and took the challenge
up. I'd say it came out well.Will "DaFraz" Turner. 1.8MB

aircraft has D-Day invasion stripes denoting its' use in the European
theater. This is a highly detailed, fully animated model by Bruce
Thorson/Roger Dial and features a custom sound set by Mike Hambly.
