FS2004 AeroDesigns Airbus A318-111 CFM United Airlines Old Colors. The fourth member of the Airbus A320 family, the A318-111 is 2.4 meters shorter than the A319, yet sports a taller tail. The A318 also differs in that it has a modified wing shape and a smaller cargo door. Besides these and other smaller details, the A318 still retains much commonality with the rest of the Airbus A320 family, including, but not limited to, the advanced flightdeck with side stick controllers, fly-by-wire flight controls allowing for a common type rating, and the same six abreast cabin layout. First flight took place on February 22, 1987. The A320-100 was the initial version and was superseded by the A320-200 from the third quarter of 1988.
