FS2002/FS2004 Saunders Roe SR-A1.SR-A1 was the world's first jet-powered flying boat. It had come into being as a result of Air Ministry Specification E.6/44, a wartime requirement for a high-speed fighter capable of operating from coastal waters in the Pacific theatre.Outwardly conventional in its appearance, the SR-A1 nevertheless embodied a number of features designed to result in an aerodynamically clean exterior with the minimum of drag-producing protrusions.By Kazunori Ito. 1.5MB

FS2004 - Sukhoi Su-15T -'FLAGON-A' Package. Developed to replace the Su-11 'Fishpot-C' interceptor during the 1960s, the Sukhoi Su-15 first appeared as a scaled-up version of the Su-9/Su-11 family but powered by two engines and utilizing twin side inlets. These design changes freed up space in the new solid nose for a large radar, and powerful engines were installed to insure the Su-15 would fly considerably faster than any known Western aircraft of the time. The first production 'Flagon-A' models featured a mid-mounted cropped delta wing, swept tailsurfaces, and a large bubble canopy placed aft well of the conical nose. FS2004 Grumman OV-1D US Army Trainer Textures only. Repaint only for Tim Conrad's OV-1D Trainer. The OV-1D was widely used during the Vietnam conflict as a reconaisance platform as well as a light attack airframe. This version represents the standard trainer used for potential OV-1D pilots in a generic US Army training scheme for an aircraft at Fort Rucker, Alabama, in the early 1970's.
