Grand Teton Park for FSX Part 3 - Lakes
Grand Teton Park for FSX Part 3 - Lakes (Category: FSX > Scenery)
72.70Mb (3276 downloads)
Grand Teton Park for FSX Part 3 - Lakes. High resolution Scenery Package. Grand Teton is the highest mountain within Grand Teton National Park, and at 13,770 feet (4197 m), the second highest in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The origin of the name is controversial. The most common explanation is that "Grand Teton" means "large teat" in French, named by either French-Canadian or Iroquois members of an expedition led by Donald McKenzie of the North West Company.[2]However, other historians disagree, and claim that the mountain was named after the Teton Sioux tribe of Native Americans.By Frank Dainese

McDonnell FH-1 Phantom
McDonnell FH-1 Phantom (Category: FSX > Military)
1.35Mb (3766 downloads)
FSX McDonnell FH-1 Phantom V2 The FH-1 Phantom was one of the first US Navy carrier based jets. Only about 60 were produced as it suffered from lack of power from the early axial flow jet engines. This is a FSX native project compiled with the Acceleration version of Xtomdl. It has the usual animations plus folding wings and operating tailhook. The single Landing Light is controlled by tailhook position thanks to a XML gauge created by Rob Barendregt. It has reflective glass, specular shine, bump maps and .dds textures. The 2D panel and VC are based on a photo and the VC has operating gauges and animated flight controls. It is painted for VF-17A assigned to the USS Saipan in 1948. This is a complete model, no other downloads needed. V1 had 1918 downloads. By Paul Clawson

FS2004/FSX Spitfire MK 21 WW2 fighter With the Mk 21 the elliptical wing gave way to a new one with blunted tips and changes to the flaps and ailerons. The wing was made even stronger and carried four 20mm cannon. The fuselage was redesigned and the whole airframe was heavier than previous Spitfires, meaning the undercarriage had to be made more robust.
