FSX Douglas DC-6 Package (early version). This is a new model of the DC-6 in its earliest form, with short nose (no weather radar), round-tipped Curtiss Electric propellers and Pioneer PB-10 autopilot. These aircraft were delivered to the first DC-6 customers in 1946-48. Later aircraft had the more well-known, square-tipped 'paddle' propellers and more powerful engines. Most, if not all, of the early DC-6's were later modernized to this standard, and many (especially from the U.S. operators) had weather radar installed in a longer nose. This package contains models & liveries for American, United, and Delta Airlines in the U.S domestic configuration, as well as SAS and Sabena in the overwater version with 5-man crew, astrodome for navigation etc. Includes virtual cockpit. FSX Seacat Package “Phantom” Livery. Special request to add the guns and paint scheme for the movie A/C. The actual A/C flies out of Horseshoe Bay on Magnetic Island in Queensland, Australia. This A/C was used in the movie the Phantom and is operated by Red Baron Sea Planes in Queensland. My thanks to Paul Mills from Red Baron for help with photo’s and cockpit layout, also a big thank you to Robert from Touchtheskysim for doing the gauges for me.
