This plane is owned by the USAF, but has a civil registry.
The 737-73W N712JM first flew in 2013, but seven years later, it still wears its green zinc chromate coating that it was delivered with.
It was originally delivered to WEST FARGO BANK
then the owner was the USAF.
He has been at the Colorado Spring airport, headquarters of SNC (Sierra Nevada Corporation). SNC is maybe the world's most known aircraft modification company, especially for unique military applications.
Recently the aircraft in question, under the callsign "STING38,' flew a mission from Santa Maria far out into the SOCAL Range Complex.
This area, which sits off the Baja Peninsula and San Guadalupe Island, is associated with long-range missile tests and carrier strike group workups.

This is a panel update for the Saunders Roe SR-53, designed and posted by Hubert Mueller. It's a great model but definitely deserves better panels. So here is a panel update including all the required gauges as well as automatic exhaust
and afterburner effects. As the designer didn't include an E-mail address I couldn't ask his permission but I trust he won't mind me posting the entire package without it - it's always easier for users to get a whole package instead of having to install bits and pieces into an existing package. So this is the whole aircraft. I didn't change anything in the aircraft's look, just the panels and added effects. Thanks to Hubert Mueller for his nice model. This is an extensive model conversion and custom model modification for the stock P3D LM/CS C-130J. The ScorchMod C-130Js came about as a response to the LM/CS models lacking current versions of the C-130J in active service with the US Armed Forces. This modification is for P3DV4+, this will not work in earlier versions of P3D or FSX. This is a true AC-130J Ghostrider, it is not just a combined model with the the stock AC-130. This model is the 3rd iteration of the "ScorchMod" C-130Js. This model has the correct 2 cannon set up, the GAU-23 30mm cannon at the front and the M102 105mm Howitzer at the rear. I have also included 2 model variations a clean version and a loaded version. The clean version has open wing station hardpoints and the loaded version has the true compliment of GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs that were modeled from scratch. I have also included the Ghostrider's assortment of FLIR cameras and additional communication domes. This model also has previous ScorchMod modifications done to it. Such as night lighting for the formation "slime" lights and other model changes. I have also coded a usable FLIR pod in the belly to mimic the iconic Hercules Gunship view of the target area. The camera is stock with P3D and uses P3D's camera function controls to allow the user to slave and track targets on the ground. The weapon systems though remain inoperable for P3D. I have included 4 custom repaints for the AFSOC liveries for the USAF, 3 with nose art and 1 without. I have also included a glowing propeller tip mod as an optional night lighting option. The real C-130Js do not have these glowing propeller tips (like the MV-22B Osprey) but thought it was an interesting modification for those that want it. This is a component based mod, so you will have to build the aircraft's folder up for the mod to work on your sim. Instructions are included. Model conversion, modification, and repaints by Nicholas "Scorch" Mitchell.
