IL-14 Base Package

IL-14 INTERFLUG and DEUTSCHE LUFTHANSA. Full aircarft ioncluded in this package. Custom panel and sounds but No VC. The Ilyushin Il-14 (NATO reporting name "Crate") was a Soviet twin-engine commercial and military personnel and cargo transport aircraft that first flew in 1950 and entered service in 1954. Il-14 was also manufactured in East Germany by VVB Flugzeugbau, in Czechoslovakia as the Avia 14, and in China under the Chinese designation Y-6. The Ilyushin Il-14 was eventually replaced by the Antonov An-24 and Yakovlev Yak-40.

Ilyushin IL-14 CAAC Repaint

This is a repaint texture for the excellent Ilyushin IL-14 by W. Beckert. You need the original model (10639_IL-14P.zip) to see the result. CAAC is the state airline of China. Base package below. Starting just before 1949, CAAC managed all non military aviation in the People's Republic of China. Scheduled domestic flights within the country were flown from 1949 up until 1962, when CAAC began operating international services. The Ilyushin IL-14 was the aircraft used on those routes at the time. There were even plans to license build the IL-14 in China under the designation Y-6 but in the end that did not happen.

This is a repaint texture for the excellent Ilyushin IL-14 by W. Beckert. You need the original model (10639_IL-14P.zip) to see the result. MALEV is the flag carrier of Hungary and around 1957 the company's Li-2 aircraft (Russian built DC-3) were exchanged for the larger more powerfull Ilyushin IL-14. They served the Hungarian carrier from 1957 to 1969. The IL-14 was also license built by VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden in East-Germany and in Czechoslovakia by Avia. HA-MAD was a Dresden-built IL-14P. Base package below.

This is a repaint texture for the excellent Ilyushin IL-14 by W. Beckert. You need the original model (10639_IL-14P.zip) to see the result. The Ilyushin IL-14 was the improved successor to the earlier IL-12 which was originally develloped as a replacement of the Lisunov Li-2 (Russian built DC-3). For many years AEROFLOT, recovering from the devastation of war, operated large fleets of Li-2's, IL-12s and IL-14's. Even in the late1980's the sturdy IL-14 could still be seen operating from remote airfields and small domestic airports. Base package below.

P51D USAF from the RAF museum in London. This is a salute to a beautiful USAF P-51D which is at present in the Royal Air Force Museum in north Hendon London England. I make no apologies for the number of photographs included. I hope you enjoy as much I have enjoyed putting this package together. This aircraft uses a Embraer AT-29 Super Tucano panel and NO VC. Original model by Roger Dial & modified by Robert Hawk. Repaint by Francis F. Silva of SAS (Silvar Art Studios)

This particular model has had its specifications revised: * Four new, more powerful, engines -- 100% higher power output * Engine compression ratio increased to a staggering 14:1 from original 8:1 and that in real terms means.... more compression = more power output = higher altitudes)
