CA_25 USS Salt Lake City - Pensacola Class Cruiser USS Salt Lake City, a 9100-ton Pensacola class heavy cruiser built at Camden, New Jersey. On 7 December 1941, Salt Lake City was operating with the USS Enterprise task group. Salt Lake City was in the south Pacific to support the campaign to seize and hold Guadalcanal. Other actions included the seizure of the Gilbert Islands ,the invasion of the Marshalls and the Iwo Jima and Okinawa campaigns. Fairey Firefly NF MK1:
This British Royal Navy fighter/bomber/night fighter aircraft first
saw combat in Norway during 1944 against the German battleship Tirpitz.
It was used mainly in the Pacific and was the first British aircraft
to fly over Tokyo. Several Firefly squadrons saw active service in
the Korean War. The 827 Squadron flew with MK1s from HMS TRIUMPH during
1951. This mdl represents a plane flown by 796 squad during 52/53.
Original mdl by By Ted Simko. Remade for CFS2/FS2002/2004 with new
Mdl, air, Dp and textures by A.F.Scrub. 3MB
