This challenging mission is a semi-historic though fictional depiction of the first jet combats of WW2 between No. 616 Squadron Mk3s and the German V-1 flying bomb. You'll need the AvHistory_WepPak from avhistory.org, otherwise everything is included within the zip file. The V-1s in this mission don't simply fly over a target, drop their ordnance (?) and continue flying, they actually descend and strike the target with a vengeance (no pun intended). FS2002 USAF Lockheed F-104C Starfighter (70-928) The F-104C (Lockheed Model 483-04-05) was the tactical strike version of the Starfighter. It was designed to meet the needs of the Tactical Air Command (TAC), which had earlier found the F-104A to be unacceptable because of its low endurance and its inability to carry significant offensive payloads. This aircraft is from 435th TFS/479th TFW based on George AFB, CA, in 1958. In 1959 it was transfered on Moron AB, Spain. In 1962, during the Cuba Crisis, it was transfered at Key West to protect USA air space. This repaint represents a Fokker S-11 Instructor of the Dutch Naval Air Service - Elementary Flying School. In the fifties a number of these sturdy little trainers were on loan from the Royal Dutch Air Force and were mainly based on Naval Air Base "De Kooy" in the north west of Holland. FS2004 Recorder Module version 1.2. This module can record flights, save them to files and play them back like the FS instant replay and flight video recorder, but with a lot more features. THIS VERSION ONLY WORKS WITH FS2004 AND WAS ONLY TESTED WITH THE 9.1 UPDATE INSTALLED!
