I realized the need for some Desert Storm Tornadoes and during a recent long weekend that we had, I figured that there are not a better time than during that weekend to do something about it. The available models aren’t exactly the correct version, but as stated so many times before – I can only work with what there is to work with. As usual I had to improvise here and there, but the end result looks pretty good. The colour-palette that I’ve decided on are sourced from the best colour photos of Tornadoes from that war that I could obtain off the Internet. It gives one a good idea of how a rather freshly painted Tornado would have looked like. But in my modelling career that has started in 1978, I learned that the choice of the correct colour for an aircraft model can lead to hefty discussions. I’ve also re-drawn the respective aircraft’s Nose-arts to the best of my abilities (Not a cut-n-paste business from a photograph). Please refer to all ‘Read Me’ files and Manual for appropriate credits given. This is a stand-alone package and thus doesn't require any other downloads. Revised Instrument Panel by Mr. Pook. I am very proud to present this Project Airbus (pa321) Airbus A321-231 in the US Airways NC livery. This was the 2nd A321-231 acquired by US Airways and is 1 of 20 A321-231's in US Airways' A321 fleet. It was delivered new to US Airways in December of 2008 and bears registration N508AY. The A321 is the medium-haul workhorse for US Airways and flies into most major US airports serviced by US Airways including; KCLT, KPHX, KLAX, KSFO, KORD, KMCO, KSAN among others. The A321's service Caribbean destinations for US Airways as well. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install. The Project Airbus A321-231 model and air files are included. FS2004 Avro 685 York C1 G-AHFE Directly delivered to British South American Airways Corporation (BSAA) on September 30, 1946 bearing the name “Star Vista”. Became part of BOAC’s York fleet when BSAA was merged with British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) on September 03, 1949. On August 07, 1951 transferred to Lancashire Aircraft Corporation, started flying on Air Ministry contract work. Used on trooping flights serials WW468 and WW578. On February 28, 1955 transferred to Skyways. Broken up at Stansted, Essex, in February 1960.
