This the 1st edition of NAS Sigonella. NAS Sigonella is one of the US Navy's prime bases overseas. Located on the east side of Sicily, it shares space with Italian armed forces. The stations first started in the area called Villaggio NATO (NAS I), as some maps show it. At first, the runway area was not a part of the initial facilities. Now days, the US Navy commands 3 areas which also include a housing area. Other branches of our services are tenants at the facilities. The base also provides strategic launching capabilites to NATO and US Allies.

This is a panel update of the Douglas DC 8-62 jetliner, originally designed by Capt. Italo D'Attomo. It's the same model recently posted by Philippe Wallaert but features new panel options, a photoreal 2D panel and an entirely remodeled VC interior and gauge configuration. Burner and smoke are now included as well. Not known if the aircraft also runs in FS2004 and P3D/3. The panels utilize many of the great gauges by Philippe Wallaert. Thanks to Capt. D' Attomo for the original model and to Philippe Wallaert for his phantastic gauges. This is the whole aircraft. Panel updates by Michael Pook.

I realized the need for some Desert Storm Tornadoes and during a recent long weekend that we had, I figured that there are not a better time than during that weekend to do something about it. The available models aren’t exactly the correct version, but as stated so many times before – I can only work with what there is to work with. As usual I had to improvise here and there, but the end result looks pretty good. The colour-palette that I’ve decided on are sourced from the best colour photos of Tornadoes from that war that I could obtain off the Internet. It gives one a good idea of how a rather freshly painted Tornado would have looked like. But in my modelling career that has started in 1978, I learned that the choice of the correct colour for an aircraft model can lead to hefty discussions. I’ve also re-drawn the respective aircraft’s Nose-arts to the best of my abilities (Not a cut-n-paste business from a photograph). Please refer to all ‘Read Me’ files and Manual for appropriate credits given. This is a stand-alone package and thus doesn't require any other downloads. Revised Instrument Panel by Mr. Pook. The package includes the Golden Age Simulations CTO models represented as the Northwest Airways WACO fleet being operated as an airmail service in 1929-1936. The staff consists of a historical fleet (in two configurations - with or without engine jacket and landing gear pants), powered by 330 hp Wright R-975E engine and a pack of two airworthy survivors with 365 hp R-975E-1. Apart the original models and basic texture the package also includes all necessary liveries and two new VC panels. Paints and modifications by Vladimir Gonchar
