FS2004 Savoia Marchetti SM-84 Royal Italian Air Force. In 1940, the Regia Aeronautica received a new addition to its bomber force, the SM.84, that was designed to replace the SM.79, but which never succeeded in equaling the performance of its illustrious predecessor. Complete aircraft. The model, created by William Dickens with Abacus FSDS_v3, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on. "imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. Flight Simulator Scenery Creator (Official) FS Scenery Creator is a high-level graphical scenery creator. The program allows for the creation airports. This program does not require a previous installation. FSSC can now convert Airport 2.xx files. FS2004 Himalayan Peaks LOD10 Mesh - Karakoram Highly detailed mesh based on Shuttle Radar (SRTM) data but with many of the void areas filled with elevation data generated from topographic maps by Jonathan de Ferranti. The "Himalayan Peaks" series contains LOD10 terrain mesh of prominent peaks and ridges. There will also be a LOD9 "base mesh" series of the Himalayas. Compiled for FS by Holger Sandmann.
