This is the Project Opensky FSX native Boeing 747-400 model, and includes ground cargo servicing, stairs (FSX - Go to Views - Instrument Panel -Posky Utility), opening nose section and more. Included CF engine sounds from BrandonG, with realistic jet whine to make your flight sound great. Thank you to Project Opensky for their contributions to the worldwide community of flight simulation. I have included the professional Saudia textures by Carlos Salas. Dobbins Air Force Base is located in Marietta, GA, United States and is home to a Lockheed-Martin F-22 and C-130 factory. When I saw how many people had downloaded my last version I knew I had to make it better and more detailed. The scenery was created with Airport Design Editor (ADE) and Abacus's Scenery Shortcut program. This is only my second scenery build uploaded to the web and I would like to dedicate this to all our American service men and women; now and throughout history!

FS2004 or 2002 scenery - Arecibo Observatory & surrounding hills, currently operated by the Cornel University, is a big object in the Arecibo area, in Puerto Rico, and can be seen from quite a distance. It is close to the Arecibo airport, ICAO designation ABO (ARE in FS2002). The observatory is used for radio-astronomy, and the spheric dish is 304 metres in diameter. ("Spheric" as opposed to "parbolic"). The "receiver-transmitter" is in a gondola suspended over the dish by three sets of cables, which are suspended from three towers. The Microsoft FS2004 site has testimonials claiming the existence of the observatory, but it only exists in FS2000, where it is quite poorly done. Author: Fern Marques. 111K
