Iqaluit is the capital of Nunavut, a vast northern region that covers almost all of the Canadian North. The airport is of critical importance to the community, especially when ice makes boat travel impossible. The scenery includes all airport buildings with custom designed and generic buildings nearby. Several typical airlines are represented, both by their flights by their facilities, including First Air, Canadian North, Air Greenland, Ken Borek Air and Keewatin. The Airbus A380 was in Iqaluit in February 2006 for flight testing in cold weather, as do other manufacturers. Airbus will also carry out the same tests for its new A350. CYFB is also a Canadian Force base. Several units are parked in the military area, in addition to the C- 177 and his escort on ramp 2. A Twin Otter from the RCMP, and some general aviation aircrafts complement the fleet. Six ships are in the scenery: four static and two mobile (AI). Zodiacs and a balloon tourist flow into the bay. These, and the ships AI, start their movements 1100Z. The weather station launches a weather balloon regularly. Three small caribou herds are in the vicinity.

FS2004 Lviv Yak42 Group & Samdim Design YAK-42D Cubana Airlines Textures only Version 2, registration CU-T 1243. I originally released this repaint in early April 2007. Although the result was nice, there was room for improvement. So after getting valuable feedback from some fellow simmers and deciding the colors of my original repaint did not match most of the Cubana AI aircraft, I decided to redo my original repaint and release it as a Version 2. So here it is, V2. The following are the changes/improvements in this version; (1) closer color matching to actual Cubana livery and (most) Cubana AI aircraft, (2) improved over and under wing registration textures, (3) corrected tail texture (missing 2nd white stripe), (4) repositioned Cuban flag on the forward section of the fuse, (5) changed font of the tail registration, and (6) changed the wheel colors to be whiter as on the real bird. FSX/P3D Boeing 737-Max 8 Southwest Airlines package with new 'Max' themed cockpit. The high spec Boeing 737-Max 8 from TDS. The VC is the Microsoft/Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND base modified by Speedbird77 to resemble a Max cockpit, including gauges by G. Munro. There are custom CFM eco sounds included for that extra realism. Use - Instrument panel - Util for ground vehicles, doors stairs, fuel truck, buses. New Utility allows Bus, fuel, doors and more.
