CFS1/FS98 F-84G Thunderjet-5a Aerobrigata-Pattuglia Acrobatica (Demonstration Team) "Guizzo" A.M.I. (Aeronautica Militare Italiana)-1953/54. On 1st June 1953 the 5a Aerobrigata was charged to form the first national post-war aerobatics team, named "Guizzo" (Flash) from the radio-call of the 103° Gruppo. The formation was composed by 4 ship piloted by Magg. Deggiovanni (leader), Mar. Pillepich, Ten. Bladelli, Cap. Marsilli and by Serg. Magg. Birago. The team took part in exhibitions also abroad and at Soesterberg (Holland), for the first time in aviation history, performed the famous aerobatics "Bomb". Original by Tim Piglet Conrad 1999. FS98/FS2000 Convair F-102A Delta Dagger aircraft/panel package. Convair's F-102 Delta Dagger interceptor entered USAF Air Defense Command service in May 1956 as the world's first supersonic all missile/rocket armed all-weather interceptor. This model represents an F102 of ADC's 4780th (AD) Perrin AFB. This model has an instrument panel included, landing lights, moving parts and canopy raises when engine is off. I searched far and wide for an appropriate freeware texture set that depicts a Tornado GR.4 in the GAF's (Luftwaffe) RAL 6003, 7021, 9005, 7012 and FS 34079 colour scheme but could not find even a single one. For me this is the best ever scheme that was used on GAF fighters. The NATO-grey scheme is much too clinical for me and looks rather dull to say the least. I've found a Starboard-side colour-plate on the Internet that really appealed to me and has used it as a starting point for my texture set. Once again much improvisation had to take place as neither picture-, drawing- nor photographic evidence is available of how exactly this camouflage pattern looked like on the Port side and the upper and lower surfaces. None-the-less I think it came out pretty well. As far as the original sound file goes that comes with the original offering: It doesn't do justice to this aircraft and I've therefore decided to utilize the sound file from the 'Mirage 2000N base FSX.zip' package on my side and I suggest that you do the same. I haven't included the mentioned sound file with this offering, because I had a bad experience on a previous occasion where I was reprimanded for using something without authorization. It may not be perfect in many respects, but it still look good, both on the ground and in the air. Please refer to all ‘Read Me’ files for appropriate credits given.
