FSX/P3D Beechcraft King Air C90 V4 Air Attack Pack
(Category: FSX > Props)
110.18Mb (1541 downloads)
This package is of an updated version of the C90 that's of some age now, but I have taken it and brought it forward a bit. The original model was made by Henry Tomkiewicz as an AI aircraft as V1 & V2. Then was converted to a flyable model for use in FS9/FSX by Dee Waldron as V3. Now I've taken it and created V4. I have added rear functional windows to the C90, added a custom made very rough rear interior model and added a VC model from the stock King Air 350. I have also added the 4-blade version of the C90, so the pack also includes the 3-blade and 4-blade versions. The liveries included are USFS contract Air Attack / Lead Plane paint schemes. As well as Buffalo Airways liveries. The C90 is used largely as a Lead Plane and Air Attack / Birddog in North American firefighting operations. Although Buffalo has sold their C90s in place of the slightly larger Beechcraft King Air 100 series. These are used in firefighting roles, but do not differ from the traditional configurations of the GA operated C90s aside from a smoke generator installed in one of the engine's exhaust ports. And some do have their interiors stripped. Aircraft was tested successfully in both P3Dv4 and FSX. Conversion and repaints by Nicholas Mitchell.

FSX/P3D Shin-Meiwa US-2A amphibian preview
(Category: FSX > Military)
20.49Mb (1541 downloads)
We all know and love Mr. KBT. He is working on a Shin-Meiwa US-2A amphibian, but it's not quite
ready yet. These things take time.
Mr. KBT has, however, made a sneak peek avaliable.
It is an AI version, for water only, so the gear is not modeled, and things are simplified.
It looks great, the flight controls are there, and the main door opens.
So, for a boat enthusiast, it wets the whistle.
The KBT US-2 page is here:
https://viperhiro.wordpress.com/category/shinmaywa/
The external AI model may be down loaded here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1F_E9a62J-nZTxvIawTOdBY2xMxENUUBM
These files are for a temporary merge of the KBT P-3 VC, and the config file
set up with L'Azur seaplane performance mod.
It also works fine as an AI model, retaining the more realistic water performance.
This also pemits realistic scooping for fire bombing, curved take-off and landings, and general wet fun.

terrible injuries, Nungesser achieved ten victories in the battle
of Verdun. At the end of the great war, his final score would

BAC
TSR2
A ground breaking aircraft, the TSR 2 while undeniably over
budget had the potential to become the best of its kind. Political
intervention was to prevent this becoming a reality and to this
day TSR2 remains a continued source of facination. Its performance
on cancellation had exceeded that expected at that time of the
test programme. Sound by Mike Hambly. Panel by Phil Perrot.

FS2004/FSX Spitfire IX Trainer
(Category: FSX > Vintage)
7.29Mb (1540 downloads)
FS2004/FSX Spitfire IX Trainer:
Although there were wartime conversions of the Spitfire into a two-seat trainer , the two-seat Spitfire trainer was primarily a postwar program. In 1946, six TR 9 trainers were converted from the standard Mk IX to train pilots for the Irish Air Corps (IAC) Seafire fleet. The Spitfires provided transition training that included gunnery practice since the type was equipped with two .303 Browning machine guns, one in each outer wing bay. Most of the TR 9 aircraft passed to the ground technical training school at Baldonnel where they were used as instructional airframes for the training of aircraft engineers for the Air Corps. Four of the IAC aircraft survived and two went on to join the warbird fleet in the 1970s and later. Complete model, airfile, effects and textures by A.F.Scrub.
