The Convair CV 880 was designed in the late 50s and was in competition with the Boeing 707 and Douglas DC8. A very few were sold even if the performances were excellent. This is an update for FSX of the Il-18 by Edgar Giunart and packaged by Matt Miller. I have added a different 2D panel so those like me can fly with English gauges; plus the VC windows are unusable except in daylight. The maker did not check to see if the windows worked at night, or someone changed the textures in a way that took away the transparency of the windows in anything but daylight. Since the aircraft had over 17,000 downloads when I downloaded it, a lot of people would like a fix if someone knows how. I have updated the flight dynamics, added all the wheels, and changed any other contact points that needed changing. I changed the smoke effect to something that I had as the aircraft package did not contain effects. This is the whole aircraft.

Assembled and upgraded for FSX with the developed B747 VC (virtual 3d cockpit) from Alejandro Rojas Lucenda. This is the Project Opensky 2014 updated FSX native Boeing 747-400 CF6 cargo model, and includes - ground cargo servicing, stairs (FSX - Go to Views - Instrument Panel -Posky Utility) and more. I have included 747 engine sounds, with realistic jet whine to make your flight sound great. Upgraded using the vastly improved Boeing 747 VC from Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND (See panel docs for details). VC includes FMC, EICAS, MFD with control panel, GPWS, working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel crossfeed, landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches. Thank you to Project Opensky for their outstanding donations to the worldwide community of flight simulation. I have included the Dubai Air Wing textures by Mathieu Vos. Also includes the Boeing 747 VC textures upgrade. This give a much clearer 747 interior virtual cockpit look. Assembled for FSX by Chris Evans.

Corben Baby Ace Floats. The Ace Baby Ace was the world's first aircraft to be marketed as a homebuilt aircraft when its plans were offered for sale in 1929. Plans are still available and Baby Aces are still being built today. Orland Corben designed a series of aircraft for the Ace Aircraft Manufacturing Company, the Baby Ace, Junior Ace, and Super Ace.
