For several years I've tried unsuccessfully to locate a place & time in FSX that displays the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis. Yet the effects do exist in FSX. The mission I've uploaded is a simple one with no downloads required & uses the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Except for having to gain some initial altitude, you should not have any trouble completing this mission.

All building textures were made using either photographs from Google, Google 3D models, or were completely custom made using photographs from the web as reference. Some of the scenery features include: Fully detailed Main terminal and Fedex Cargo Apron, modernized control tower (not yet open for ATC use), Martinair, Air France/KLM Cargo hangars, Old DynCorp building, COPECA Jet Center, WASCO, and the 141st Radar Site of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard. New 2015 features: HD taxi/apron textures, nice 3D Taxiway signs with refelctions, Added Lufthansa Technik facilities, new CBP hangar, new Tech School, new surrounding buildings and "the ruins". The L.3 was a partially failed attempt to create a very simple and cheap monoplane trainer, better suited to the entire basic training syllabus of Regia Aronautica pilots from 1940 onwards. This closed cockpit version, initially conceived for civil use, was used also by the Croatian Air Force, the Luftwaffe and by the A.N.R. (for assault glider pilot training also). Some also served as 'unit hacks' during WW2. This release (Part 2) provides a closed cockpit MDL in many relevant liveries.It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within in FSX. A.V.I.A. This scenery is for FSX only! It was created using default FSX objects as well as one other addon library. There are several things going on in this scenery. At the Kabul airbase there is a makeshift military hospital with tents and emergency trucks, there is a crew working to prepare an RQ-4A drone for a bomb drop including mechanics and trucks and humvees. FS2004 Southern California Oilrigs V2.0 This is a revised version of my previous rendition of the Oil Rigs off the SOuthern California Coastline. This file acurately represents the positions of ALL of the Oilrigs extending from Lompoc to Newport Beach, California. Also included are 4 lighthouses not placed in the FS2004 Default Scenery located from Morro Bay - Point Conception, California. REQUIRES RWY 12 (here) This add-on was created with Runway 12 add-on, so you must have this add-on installed, or at least the scenery BGL and Texture files installed in your Addon Scenery\Static Objects Library folder for the scenery to work. In addition, the scenery was created while using Ultimate Terrain USA, so default FS2004 Scenery users may have some scenery items in slightly different places.Brian C. Selb. 64K
