FS2004 Ubon Ratchathani 2004, Thailand. Introduction: This is an updated version of the scenery I had originally created for FS2002. Since that time, I have learned a lot about scenery design, and this is reflected in this newer version. Many of the objects will look the same, but there are a few improvements which will result in better performance. The two biggest changes have to do with the ground textures, and the use of library objects. I no longer use custom ground textures, since I think the default styled textures can look good when used as directed in the SDK. Also, every tree, car, fence, and any other object that appears more than once is now a library object, which helps to improve framerates on slower systems. By Martin Strong. 2.9MB

FS2004 Dornier DO217-ES Condor Legion A twin engine bomber, used by Luftwaffe in the early 1936 with a volunteer crew during the Spanish Civil War, and a little later. This is a Ted Kaniuka aircraft made for the CFS2, now adapted to be flyable under FS2004. No changes were made in the original mdl and textures. 3.4MB

FS2002 PRO Beechcraft Model 18 Twin Float Plane Beech's most successful airliner, more than 9000 Beech 18s were built over an uninterrupted three decade long production run, and while many of those were built against wartime military contracts, vast numbers went on to see civil service. Some of them were converted for use as float planes, although there never were a lot of them in that capacity. Airport specifications have been updated using information from Virtual Earth, Airnav and the official Web page. Enhancements include new and/or updated Terminal gates; Terminal gate assignments; approach information (transitions/missed); cargo, general aviation and military parking; airport facilities and vehicles; water tower; runway marking and lighting including new approach lights for Rwy 13; apron spot lighting; new Control Tower with Tower view; taxiway designation and pavement type; relocated airport green-white beacon; and additional vehicle paths and fuel trucks. This is an update for FSX of the DC-4 by Jens B. Kristensen. I have added the rest of the wheels; corrected the contact points; changed the size of the GPS; added a trim gauge to both panels; added a more modern autopilot; changed the touchdown effect; and tweeked the flight dynamics. This is only the passenger model and includes the radar model, it does not included the cargo model. I tried to separate all the passenger paints from the cargo paints; there are 20 paints of this aircraft. Whole aircraft included.
