FSX Gannet RCN Textures (Category: FSX > Vintage)
3.88Mb (1436 downloads)
A 'what if?' re-paint for Rob Richardsons new FSX Fariey Gannet 'kerosene converter' (it converts kerosene to noise!) Absolutley excellent, great VC (for the NAV, too!) lots of features, double Mamba sound, and free, too. Model is avalable at Classic British Files .com http://www.classicbritishfiles.com/index.php?option=com_cont .. The Gannet was evaluated by the RCN in the mid '50's as an Avenger replacement in the ASW search and strike role, but the Tracker was selected as Fairey would not license production in Canada. We can, however, visualize an alternate history through the magic of FlightSim. An RCN Gannet in VS-880 markings, HMCS Bonaventure, 1958.

AFS Demo: Tornado, GR.4, Royal Airforce (RAF)
AFS Demo: Tornado, GR.4, Royal Airforce (RAF)
3.89Mb (1436 downloads)
AFS demo version with banners. Panavia Tornado is a family of twin-engine combat aircraft, which was jointly developed by the West Germany, United Kingdom and Italy. There are three primary versions of the Tornado; the Tornado IDS (Interdictor/Strike) fighter-bomber, the suppression of enemy air defences Tornado ECR (Electronic Combat/Reconnaissance) and the Tornado F.3 (only United Kingdom) a air fefence variant. It is one of the world's most sophisticated and capable interdiction and attack aircraft, with a long range, large payload and high survivability. Developed and built by Panavia, a tri-national consortium consisting of MBB of West Germany, British Aerospace, and Alenia Aeronautica of Italy. The Tornado first flew on August 14, 1974, and saw action with the RAF and AMI (Italian Air Force) in the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). International co-operation continued after its entry into service within the Tri-National Tornado Training Establishment, a tri-nation training and evaluation unit operating from RAF Cottesmore, England. Including all variants, 992 aircraft were built for the three partner nations and Saudi Arabia (first export customer). FSX/ Acceleration Martin Baker MB5 Updated (Category: FSX > Vintage)
11.78Mb (1435 downloads)
The Martin-Baker MB5 was the ultimate development of a series of prototype fighter aircraft built during the World War II. Neither the MB 5 nor its predecessors ever entered production despite what test pilots described as excellent performance. This FSX/ FSX Acceleration update fixes the issue of the prop being totally black instead of blurred while running in FSX Acceleration. It's still not perfect but it sure enhances the appearence of the plane in flight. In addition, smoke effect has been added to the aircraft as well. This mega package includes ten textures, seven military variants and three racer models. Original model by Alphasim, FSX update by Danny Garnier and additional textures by Nick Bradin. Prop fix and new smoke configuration by Michael Pook.
