This is another one of my historical airports. If NAS Pensacola is the birthplace of American Navy Aviation, Flugplatz Doberitz is the birthplace of German Military Aviation. It is argueably the birthplace of the Luftwaffe. In 1910, only a year after Johannesthal was established, the German Government established Doberitz for the sole purpose of developing pilots and tactics to take the airplane to war. It served as both a training site and defense site throughout world wars I and II. After WWII it was behind the "Iron Curtain" and served the Soviets in various capacities, but not as the historical place it held within German Military History. The airfield is recreated here as it appeared in the 1920's to late 1930's. Throughout WWII, Doberitz continued to grow, and was host to all manner of military aircraft. With alumni like Max Immelman and Manfred Von Richtofen, most if not all of the German Aces had cycled through Doberitz at some time in their careers. Doberitz is now a nature park. By Jim Dhaenens

Welcome to Matarangi Beach, located 1 nautical mile east of Whangapoua Harbour, in the northern Coromandel area of the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Matarangi Beach is another of the east coast's popular and fast growing beach resorts. Scenery requires some EZ Scenery Object sets ( see INSTALL instructions for details).

Converted to FSX native by Bulbbulb2 with new older 737-200 themed VC by Speedird77 based on the FSND/Microsoft 737 cockpit. Modified the alphas to prevent wing transparency in P3D 5.2. at resolution 2048x2048. Not tested in FSX but should work in FSX. The Yak-11 design was based in large part on the successful Yak-3 fighter, and became the Soviet Air Force's most widely used trainer aircraft. From 1953, an additional 707 were licence-built by Let in Czechoslovakia under the name C-11 (LET C-11 in some documentation). Both Yak-11 and C-11 were used in all Warsaw Pact countries and were exported to eighteen countries. With it's fighter pedigree and trainer ease of operation, the MOOSE has become a popular warbird and race aircraft. 2021 FSX native update of Pavel Karásek's 2011 FS9 MOOSE. V1.5. The Vietnam-Desert Storm era of aircraft carriers is really lacking in the world of FSX/P3D. I have been working, using Google Sketchup, to fill this gap. This is the latest project fresh out of the Dry dock. The USS America (CV-66) is the 3rd of the Kitty Hawk class. It is a HEAVILY modified 3DWarehouse model originally by A.W. (https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=8aacd0f973114c1b53d9199581d0f4b4) I have tried many times over the last 2 years to find out how to contact the author, to no avail. I am using it under free use, and I will not be charging money for it. I also got permission to use the static planes from Gary (Author of the Midway CV-41 and the Oriskany.) with my previous uploads.

FS2004/FSX Yak-1M The Yakovlev Yak-1 was a World War II Soviet fighter aircraft. Production began in early 1940. It was a single-seat monoplane with a composite structure and wooden wings. The Yak-1 was extremely manoeuvrable, fast and well armed, and, just as importantly, it was easy to maintain and reliable. It formed an excellent basis for subsequent developments from the Yakovlev bureau. In fact it was the founder of a family of aircraft, with some 37,000 being built. In 1943, Yakovlev designed the Yak-1M which was a lighter version of the Yak-1.Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSXacceleration. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub.

Located about 6 miles east Lecce City and very close to Adriatic/Mediterranean Sea border LINL is another Italian airport not present via FSX selection. Dedicated to all Vicdabor Freeware scenery simmers friends over the world and particulary the south Italy local friends LINL is a very nice place for start over coast your virtual tour around the "heel of the boot", the typical geographic form of south-Italy.
