This airport was created using Airports Design 9x. Martha's Vineyard Airport is a airport located in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. I replaced all of the stock buildings with more accurate ones. I also put cars in the parking lot and static aircraft on the ramp. There are hangers to the west part of the ramp. I moved the control tower to the correct spot. If you choose to start off at a DOCK gate, you will start off inside the aircraft hanger. Choosing a gate number between 1 and 5 will start you off near the main terminal. Your scenery complexity can not be set to very sparse or nothing will show up. Please read the readme for instructions on how to install. This is for Flight Simulator X only.

L1649A Lufthansa 'Super Star' D-ALAN in delivery paint scheme of 1957. Textures only. It was the Lufthansa Flagship for a while and once did a trip around the world on a government mission. 'D-ALAN' is now preserved in the 'Fame of Flight Museum' at Polk City, FL, USA as one out of four surviving 'Starliners'.

This is the original Sabre with the standard elevator, as opposed to the 'flying tail'. These textures represent the F-86A-5-NA Sabre, 49-1318, FU-318, flown by (then) Capt. James Jabara while with the 4th Fighter Wing, 334th Fighter Squadron. On May 20, 1951 he piloted this aircraft, while temporarily with the 335th, scoring his 5th and 6th victories. These were accomplished even though his left droptank failed to jetison. The aircraft is fully animated: all control surfaces, opening canopy, airbrakes(spoiler key) Her loadouts are: Guns Only, Guns Only Long Range and Rockets. The droptanks are a selectable weapon and are released as such. (When flying with droptanks, they are automatically selected at takeoff.) The Lear45 folder is included for those who do not already have it instaled....it is necessary for default jet sounds. Installation is simple. Paste all files from the folders/subfolders of the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 main directory. To use this scenario properly, you must have a good "mesh terrain" scenery. Includes terminal building, control tower, hangar, heliport, with very realistic textures. Also includes a detailed VFR scenery with vehicular traffic, approximately 12 nm, around to the airport.
