FS2004 An Khe Airfield and the An Khe "Golf Course" Airfield, Vietnam. This Vietnam scenery includes two airfields: An Khe Airfield and the An Khe "Golf Course" Airfield. An Khe was located at the eastern end of a strategic mountain pass, about midway between Pleiku and Qui Nhon. An Khe Airfield was a US Army facility for fixed wing (prop) aircraft. It had a 4,300' concrete runway. The nearby An Khe "Golf Course" Airfield was a huge helicopter base operated by the 1st Cavalry. Its vast parking area could accommodate several hundred helicopters. Both airfields are a single entry in the FS airport database. The airport code is VVAK. Runway 03/21 is the An Khe airfield and runway 17/35 is the "Golf Course" airfield. George Knowles. 407K

I used the Flight 1 Instant Scenery programme to enhance the Plettenberg Bay airport (FAPG) in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. While it is by no means an exact replica of the airport, I have used the images from Google Earth to create a more realistic airport than that provided for on FSX. I just felt it was a nice hop between George Airport and Port Elizabeth Airport. Detailed and acurate of major South African airports can be found at www.nmgtrading.co.za (I highly recommend the website). This is an update for Galway- EICM - airport in Ireland. FEATURES: ILS for runway 26 (FREQ. 118.500); The new turnaround at the beginning of runway 26; the extension at the end of runway 26; taxiways Bravo and Charlie; the fire training ground (taxi via Charlie); a paring spot (located where the ACTUAL fuel station is) for FUEL(I am unable to move the fuel station so this is just a parking spot called fuel); the new tarmac section with new parking altered taxi stands for the "Gates"; an Aer Arran only gate 2; helicopter parking spots to represent executive helicopters parking; a taxi line leading to the Aer Arran hanger(Hanger not included); new apron lighting; a fictional ground freq. Ajusts the airport area to resemble the real thing. The flying club parking (located at the east side of the airport)

The Fw 58 was a low-wing monoplane with two piston engines mounted in nacelles on the wing leading edges. The crew sat under an enclosed canopy. Aft of the flight deck, the fuselage was open to form a moveable machine gun station. The tailwheel undercarriage was retractable. The Fw 58 was widely used for training Luftwaffe personnel. It was also used as a VIP transport, ambulance, feeder airliner, photo reconnaissance, and weather research aircraft. It was built under license in Bulgaria, Hungary and Brazil. It was also operated by several countries such as the Netherlands, Romania, Croatia and Turkey. This is an FSX panel update for the Focke Wulf FW 58, previously designed for FSX by A.F. Scrub. The package includes a wheeled and a float version of the aircraft. Both the new entirely remodeled and enhanced VC and the 2D panel are now equipped with all authentic German gauges. smoke and VC light added. The wheeled variant's engines are now automatically fired off on the runway. All credits go to A.F.Scrub for the original model, new VC, gauge configuration as well as smoke and vc light by Michael Pook. This is the whole aircraft.

FSX Grumman Avenger TBM-3U The Grumman Avenger made a major contribution to the outcome of the Second World War as a carrier-based naval aircraft. Procured in large numbers, the type saw action with Allied Forces in virtually all theatres of operation. Robust and reliable, the Avenger survived in large numbers into the post-war period and was adapted to a wide variety of uses.The -3u was a general utility and target towing variant and remained in service until the mid 1950. GMAX model, tested in FSX/FSXacceleration/Fs2004 Win7/8 by A.F.Scrub.

The package features several updates for the CH-34, recently uploaded by Michael E. Roberts (required), to make it work properly in FSX Acceleration. The glass is now transparent, the sound is working now and a new basic VC (with non-functioning gauges)as well as smoke effect have been added. Updates by Michael Pook.
