In memory of Capatain Chuck Yeager, who passed away on Dec. 7 at the age of 97 this year, this is a new update of his "Glamorus Glennis", with which he broke the sound barrier for the first time in January 1947. The package features reworked and now almost authentic and realistic VC and 2D panels. Automatic smoke and burner included. Thanks to Julian Higgs for the original model, to Bob Chicilo for his FDE updates and to uenoshing for his excellent XF-91 gauges. Also special thanks to Andre Ludick for his fuselage texture corrections. vNew panels and effect configuration by Michael Pook. The model may work in P3D Version3 also.

Update for FSX of the Alphasim UFO (Category: FSX > Military)
4.05Mb (1323 downloads)
This is an update for FSX of the Alpha UFO. I have given it a 2D panel as the panel folder it came with was empty. I have added all the wheels, and added some float points so you can land on water if you choose to. I have added some nav lights so it is a bit easier to tell which way it is going; and I have updated the flight dynamics. This is the whole aircraft. No VC.

FSX/Accel/P3dv3 Giant Flying Boat Blohm & Voss BV-238
FSX/Accel/P3dv3 Giant Flying Boat Blohm & Voss BV-238
23.54Mb (1323 downloads)
FSX/Accel/P3dv3 (FS2004) Giant Flying Boat Blohm & Voss BV-238. This huge aircraft made its first flight in April 1944 and was rather a flying ship than a boat, bigger than the BV-222, and was the heaviest aircraft of WWII. The Spruce Goose with eight engines was even much bigger but she was buildt at the end of the war and never did a real flight except a test taxiing with a short moment of being airborne. Only one BV-238 performed successful flights, the two other prototypes were never completed. The FS-model showes the heavy armed planned long range bomber version, which was never completed. It comes with two paint schemes, 2D panel and a complete virtual cockpit. And there are plenty of animations: 2 extendable floats, 20 bomb bay hatches, 20 falling bombs, 18 moving guns and a supply boat. Twelve cameras showes you all the details.
