This is repaint #05 in my Real World series of repaints for the excellent Grumman AA-5B by Tim "Piglet" Conrad. This particular aircraft G-BXTT, is a 1978 AA5-B Tiger, Serial No. AA5B-0749 that can be seen flying all over the UK and sometimes into europe as well. I've modified the VC cockpit and 2D cockpit textures to display the plane registration correctly. All other textures are untouched. This update includes the following updates, changes and missing bmp-files on the current V2.0 version. 1. A major re-work on the Head Up Display ( HUD ) gauge has been done. Mainly for the landing approach the horizontal center line is correct lined up with the real horizon and the velocity symbol along with the localizer and glide slope points precise to the touch down position of the runway. In connection with this re-work some small changes on the EFVC model, on the panel.cfg, and on the aircraft.cfg were required also. Note: This new VCHUD gauge may NOT work correct on the latest P3D version !!! 2. A major re-work on the 2D HUD display has been done. Only the HUD graphical presentation is now being displayed. 3. Missing effects and texture files for missile contrails have been updated. 4. Missing effect display for the 50% throttle power has been updated. Hawaiian Airports Part 1 This scenery features accurate recreations of the airports at PHMK Molokai, PHNY Lanai City, PHHN Hana, PHLU Kalaupapa, and JHM Mauai West. All runways, aprons, taxiways and buildings have been repositioned to their correct locations, and include custom textures based on real photographs. The new hanger has been added to Hana and also the new fire stations at Lanai and Molokai. The scenery features effects, sound, many animated objects including people, flags, animals, waves, cars, trucks and many more. Full night textures with light maps are included. The scenery also includes representative, and real interisland traffic schedules, and the HAL ATR is sporting the new OHana livery. All the scenery files have been sub-divided so they can be switched on or off according to user preference. It has been designed for, and tested in DX9 and FSXA only. Ermolaev ER-2 for FSX/P3Dv3,v4 The ER-2 (sometimes called Yer-2 or Jer-2) went into production in late 1940. It was one of the very few diesel powered aircraft. A total of approx. 360 examples being built. The Er-2 was popular in service with its crews, and participated in many heroic encounters. Er-2s played a key role in the Defense of Moscow, took part in the bombing of Berlin, and conducted very long duration patrols over the Baltic coastline, almost always without escort. Examples of both major versions were still in service in 1945 with several Regiments, and production of the type continued after the War with the Er-2ON transport. FSX/P3D mdl by A.F.Scrub

The Martin MB-2 was the first All American bomber to be produced in quantity. It first flew in 1920 and stayed in service until being replaced by the Keystone bombers of the late 1920's. This was the airplane Gen. Billy Mitchell used to prove an airplane could sink a battleship. This an update for the MB-2 FSX model by Paul Clawson. It features a 2D panel, some vc modifications, smoke effect and new light configuration. Thanks to Paul Clawson for his original model and to all the great unknown gauge and sound designers used for this awesome aircraft. This update is a complete re-paint of the base colours of the fuselage and engines, creating patterns and gradients which better represent the mica silver used on the real aircraft. The gradients presented all sorts of problems matching where the textures get mapped onto the air frame in order to ensure that there are no stark differences at the joins. The work is now complete and the result is that the aircraft now really looks more silver than plain grey. After completing the base colours, many fine details were also updated - such as cargo doors, decals, APU doors, nose cone, paint around the cockpit windows, detail under the fuselage, warning lines on engine and fuselage, and much more. This is probably as detailed as any paint job on the AeroSim B787-800.
