MiG-25 'Foxbat' interceptor

Mikoyan-Gurevich
MiG-25 'Foxbat' interceptor capable of mach 3. The MiG-25
was built in response to the planned mach 3 US bomber XB-70.
Supposedly the interceptor is capable of mach 3 for short periods
of time. More than one MiG-25 was reported landing with damaged
engines. Nevertheless the plane is still considered somthing
of a myth. Built totally from scratch using FSDS and the excellent
CfgEdit. Complete with panel, sound and (hopefully) correct .air
file matching its specs + moving parts. Made in April 2001 by
Joakim Aasen. 2.9MB

Goodyear Defender
(Category: CFS2 > Misc)
1.65Mb (1257 downloads)
This is a conversion of Bill Lyons' Goodyear blimp from FS2002 to CFS2. Her envelope and flag have been repainted to show her in US Navy service (ficiticious) during WWII. She has been armed with a .50 cal. and aerial depthcharges. (She retains her luxurious interior upholstery and carpeting have been retained, as there was not time to change them before she was pressed into service for convoy escort.) The weapons are included in the download. Please read the Check List for flight control instructions. She flies essentially like a standard aircraft with the exception that you must use Flaps and Elevator Trim extensively to control her properly.

This is Kazunori Ito's P-61, with my repaint, captured in FS and pasted in MS Paint. The splash screen is my first to upload an FS2004 repaint. This splash screen was uploaded separately because the author doesn't want anything else besides the repaint, but here is the splash screens designed for FS9 and FSX. Enjoy.

80th ANNIVERSARY DAMBUSTERS 16-17 May 1943
(Category: FSX > Military)
114.83Mb (1256 downloads)
An upgrade of my previous uploads 10 years ago for DB70 and DB71. As previously, this package is based on the same fs9 aircraft by PLANE-DESIGN updated by me for FSX. Suitable also for FSX-SE. RAF Lancaster aircraft supplied for Training are Type 683: AJ-D and AJ-Q. Type 464: AJ-G, AJ-J, AJ-N and AJ-Q. Flying Ai's in Training: AJ-M, AJ-P and AJ-B. The OPERATION CHASTISE RAID on the Moehne Dam is part of this package. The difficult Eder attack is not. Saved flights for Training (8) and for the Raid (1). Learn some of the history and try your luck at qualifying as a No 617 Squadron RAF Dambuster Pilot and Bombaimer. Hopefully not being sent back to your original Squadron because you could not meet the Dambuster Brief that instructed: "FLY EVERYWHERE AT TREE TOP LEVEL AND +60 ft OVER WATER". Flying at tree top level and +60 feet was a developed skill in 1943 and so it is in the sim. If you graduated from training, could you have breached the Moehne Dam? A Tribute to No 617 Squadron RAF Dambusters, Pilots, Crews, Ground Personnel, Technicians and the UPKEEP designer, Barnes Wallis. Multiple acknowledgments in the pdf documentation. Demo video included. Packaged by Ross McLennan.

Matterhorn mountain scenery, Switzerland [external link]
(Category: MSFS 2020 > Scenery)
(1256 downloads)
Matterhorn mountain scenery, because the default one looked underwhelming and did no justice to this extremely beautiful natural wonder. Matterhorn, the Swiss and incredibly photogenic giant. Famous around the world, this mountain is a beauty. That's why I took the challenge to "renovate" the original one of the game that looked lacking. Matterhorn figure is very difficult to be interpreted successfully in the sim with low resolution mesh data, it needed a really high resolution model. This is what it is.
There are KNOWN ISSUES such as : - May cause severe fps drops on higher resolution displays.(may reduce texture load in a future version) - You can pass beneath the artificial ground of the model because the mesh of the terrain is not accurate ,so no collision for the most part. -There are also some artifacts at the edges of the scenery(i tried to cover up most of them somehow) and my theory is that they were created during the injection of the model in blender. - Also you may experience some "grain" effect with shadows, because the game renders the mountain as an object and not as a part of the actual large scale scenery.

B-25J Updated
(Category: FS2004 > Vintage)
3.50Mb (1256 downloads)
This is an update for FS9 of the B-25J by
Mike Stone, with some extra textures by Garry
J. Smith. I have patched the holes in the
panel background, some were not easy to see
without looking close. I corrected the wing
apex and root cord; fixed the prop and engine
sections of the aircraft.cfg file; added
icons and a pitch trim gauge to the panel,
and updated the flight dynamics. No virtual
cockpit.
