FS2004/FSX Phonix D.I WW1 fighter. The Phönix D. I biplane was intended as a replacement for the Hansa-Brandenburg D. I. Although it was produced in smaller numbers (120 D. I, 45 D. II, and 48 D. IIa fighters) than the Aviatik D. I and did not begin entering service until October 1917, the Phönix D-series fighters are generally considered the best fighters designed and produced in Austria-Hungary. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub.

This texture set originated as a result of my GAF Tornado texture set. I remembered that I have quite a number of photos of Starfighters that appears in the same colour-scheme as the Tornadoes and have therefore decided to do a texture set depicting one in the GAF's (Luftwaffe) RAL 6003, 7021, 9005, 7012 and FS 34079 colour scheme. Once again much improvisation hat to take place but I think I’ve captured the topic quite well. It may not be perfect in many respects, but it still look good, both on the ground and in the air. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic revised Boeing 737-800 VC model. This VC model includes Working wipers (right mouse click on switch) with rain effect. Switches for LCD Screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), More Realistic night VC textures. There are custom Boeing 737 sounds included for that extra realism. I have added the realistic textures by Alejandro Magadan. Model is not modified in any way. On December 5th, 1945, five Avenger torpedo bombers left the Naval Air Station at Fort Lauderdale for a training mission. They never returned home. Flight leader was Flt.Lt. Charles C. Taylor. The other pilots were Capt. Edward J. Powers, Capt. George W. Stivers, 2nd Lt. Forrest J. Gerber and Ens. Joseph T. Bossi. At 3.50pm that afternoon flight instructor Lt. Robert F. "Bob" Cox was ready to land at Fort Lauderdale. He heard a radio transmission addressed to someone named Powers. Powers replied, "I don't know where we are.
