FS2004 Dak To Airfield, Vietnam. A model of Dak To Airfield, the scene of several critical battles during the Vietnam War, including the famous Battle of Dak To in late 1967. Like Khe Sanh, Dak To was one of the most primitive and remote airfields in South Vietnam. Dak To sat astride Highway 512, which ran from Laos right into the heart of the central highlands region of South Vietnam. Gaining control of the central highlands was a key objective in Hanoi's plan to conquer the south. Consequently, Dak To was repeatedly attacked by the enemy during the war. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles. 162K

This package contains the texture replacement for the Tyndall raptor in the TyndallRaptor.zip labove. Following the original DSB paint scheme the AF year of the plane followed the number. In real life, the AF year precedes the number. This fix corrects that. Thanks for downloading my file. I've included as an extra, Holloman AFB Raptor. (requires the Tyndall Textures above)

Modifications are made for, again, a wonderful created Piper aircraft by Rien Cornelissen. This time it concerns the Piper Arrow-IV PA-28T-201 aircraft that Rien made in 2008. At first I hesitated on doing modifications on this Arrow IV as it did look great and performed well. Also the VC of Rien is nice but after some testing I did not like the lights configuration of the aircraft in Prepar3D. Then I thought it would be nice to give Rien's VC an even more 'old school' look... So here I started to make a mod of the Arrow IV. It will be my last one of Rien's creations. The modifications consist of some recoded gauges, some new gauges, an enhanced Bendix King Auto Pilot, reference and checklists kneeboard files, four expandable gauges and Cockpit sounds. An extra panel was created with a Garmin GNS530 in VC. Stock Bendix King Radio gauges are replaced with equivalent ones by ones created by Pierre Fasseaux. Further improvements concern aircraft lights and aircraft lights management. Finally three new liveries are provided. For a full list of modifications and a credits list see file: Piper ArrowIV_RC_mod.pdf in the 'Docs' folder of the aircraft. This package has only been tested okay in Prepar3D v4+ However I have included panel configurations for FSX users. See INSTALL.txt for help if needed. Happy days and happy flights. This is a panel update for the Saunders Roe SR-53, designed and posted by Hubert Mueller. It's a great model but definitely deserves better panels. So here is a panel update including all the required gauges as well as automatic exhaust and afterburner effects. As the designer didn't include an E-mail address I couldn't ask his permission but I trust he won't mind me posting the entire package without it - it's always easier for users to get a whole package instead of having to install bits and pieces into an existing package. So this is the whole aircraft. I didn't change anything in the aircraft's look, just the panels and added effects. Thanks to Hubert Mueller for his nice model. Start with your Saab 105 OE at the Airbase Linz-Hörsching and fly to the Lake Neusiedl. There you performe a very low pass from North to South over the lake and make photos of strange objects. Then return back to the Airbase Linz Hörsching, land there and report your officer what you have seen. Today we have clouds and fog at the airbase, so be prepared for an ILS-Landing. Updated Version with corrected flt-file and mission file.
