The basic Mk V was a Mk I with the Merlin 45 series engine. This engine delivered 1,440 hp (1,074 kW) at take-off, and incorporated a new single-speed single-stage supercharger design. Several Mk I and Mk II airframes were converted to Mk V standard by Supermarine and started equipping fighter units from early 1941. This MkVc is armed with 4 cannon. Model by A.F.Scrub

FA-18 Update

This is my 2nd update for FSX of the default
FA-18 Hornet. It includes everything that
was in the first update. I recently noticed
that the aircraft would not hold speed,
within reason, while descending; and would not
hold a steady speed at low altitude when on
autopilot. This is now corrected; I made a
few other changes to the flight dynamics.
What was done before: I added a 2D panel and
left the VC panel as workable as before. I
have redone the flight dynamics, and added
the 4th wheel. Included is a carrier
tutorial, because the 2D panel is not
visually compatible with the original
tutorial. BECAUSE THIS IS A DEFAULT AIRCRAFT,
BACK UP YOUR HORNET AIR AND AIRCRAFT.CFG
FILES AS WELL AS THE PANEL FOLDER BEFORE
ATTEMPTING TO APPLY THIS UPDATE.

The rapid pace of wartime development saw the Spitfire Mk.IX design tweaked many times during production.
In order to gain a slight improvement in roll rate and about 4 mph at low level, the wing-clipping was done on those models intended (or modified) for low-level. The increase in the rate of roll made it still more competitive with the German FW 190 at low altitude. Czech and Danish version included. Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSXacceleration, windows 7/8. GMAX mdl by A.F.Scrub.

Curtiss A-12 Shrike

The Curtiss A-12 Shrike was the United States Army Air Corps' second monoplane ground-attack aircraft, and its main attack aircraft through most of the 1930s. It was based on the A-8, but had a radial engine instead of the A-8's inline, water-cooled engine, as well as other changes. It served right up to the Pearl Harbor attack. the asymmetrical airc- raft of Germany in the WWII. Features full
moving parts and pilot animation. LOD models are included. Please
try many things. For example, if a landing gear is stored, a rear
gunner opens a pivoted window and establishes a gun. Autopilot and
GPS are also equipped. Probably, operation in DVC will be pleasant.
