Welcome to Karamea Airfield, on the north-western coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The airfield is located 1nm North of the town of Karamea, and is the southern "gateway" to the beautiful scenic wonderland of Able Tasman National Park. These are textures only for the ALPHASIM FREEWARE F-84F Thunderstreak package. This repaint represents Republic F-84F Thunderstreak S/N 51-1659 as it flew in the markings of the 389th Fighter Bomber Squadron (part of the 366th Fighter Bomber Wing at Alexandria AFB, Louisiana) in 1955. The original plane is now beautifully restored in these striking squadron colors and resides at the Combat Air Museum, Topeka - Kansas. / Jaap de Baare

FSX/P3D v3,v4 IIyushin_Il-4 The DB-3F was redesignated Il-4 in March 1942. The most notable change was the addition of larger defensive guns in the turret, using the 12.7 mm (0.5 in) UBT machine gun in place of the earlier 7.62 mm (0.3 in) weapons. Located just a minute flight from FTX/ORBX's 74S Anacortes airport, (and actually covered in their scenery) Allan Island is a small 292-acre private island which received its name during the 1841 Wilkes expedition in honor of Lt. William Henry Allen, who was killed while commanding the USS Argus during the War of 1812. Allan Island is part of the San Juan Island Chain. Allan Island features an array of new objects and techniques which we have never used before in our development. This island is coated in a beautiful set of 30cm/px photoreal textures which will make you feel right at home in the PNW. For the first time ever, we have fully deployed an extremely high resolution digital elevation model, covering Allan and neighboring Burrows and Young Island in 2m/px resolution. An outstanding achievement. Following these two combinations, Allan Island is also host for a brand new set of object libraries that arrived in the latest Emerald Object Library v2.0 build. The highlights of these models being the brand new 55 gallon fuel drums and slick traffic cones. Allan Island features a new take on our previous ground vegetation outtakes. We have deployed a new feature covering the entire runway it shorter 3D grass. This feature has turned out extremely nice so far, but may be a performance hog on slower systems. (Midrange is open for debate) Allan Island also features a nifty control panel in which you can easily deactivate features in the scenery, as well as swap the summer 3D grass for icy winter style grass. FS2004/FSX Heinkel He112b fighter The He 112 fighters were designed by Heinkel in response to Luftwaffe's call for a monoplane fighter that could attain a high speed, which the He 112 design fulfilled, but the contract eventualy went to the Messerschmitt Bf 109 design due to He 112's expensive price tag and perhaps partially due to the crashes during performance review. Even though the BF109 won the Luftwaffe contract, Heinkel still produced 98 He.112's. It was mostly used by Spain, Japan, Rumania and Hungary. GMAX model by A.F.Scrub

FS2004 Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-8FZ with registration 9M-MLH, utilizing POSKY B737-800. This is the last MAS B737-800 (with 9M-ML* registration) painted in old livery. A minor update is now they have logo inner side of winglets. Fix and enhanced wing, engines and night textures from previous version. Model by Project Open Sky. Painted by Ahmad Sallehuddin.

4 repaints for both FSX and FS9 versions of Paul Clawsons SR.45 Princess Flyingboat. What almost was. The mighty SR.45 Princess was left without customers; long range, high performance landplanes and a plethora war-time airfields leaving the big boats high and dry. Never the less, a number of serious proposals were made for the boats. The Royal Air Force was interested in the aircraft as long range freighters. Aquila offered £1 million each for the 3 aircraft in 1954, wishing to supplant some of its war weary types on its longer routes; an offer that was rejected by SARO. A serious inquiry was made by Convair and the U.S.Navy in 1958 to purchase the boats for conversion as testbeds for a Nuclear powered logistics transport proposal, utilizing a GE-P&W closed cycle nuclear T-45 turboprop system. A final proposal in 1964 was accepted from Aero Spacelines, who wished to convert the aircraft to swingnose freighters for transporting Titan and Saturn components to Cape Canaveral. 3 reapaints for a Nuclear Testbed, Aquila Airways, Aero SpaceLines, and a rework of M.Barnes' RAF C.Mk.I repaint.
