The MiG-17 was the primary interceptor of the fledgling Vietnam People's Air Force in 1965, scoring its first aerial victories and seeing extensive combat during the Vietnam War, the aircraft frequently worked in conjunction with MiG-21s and MiG-19s. Many historians believe that some North Vietnamese pilots, in fact, preferred the MiG-17 over the MiG-21 because it was more agile, though not as fast; however, of the 16 NVAF Aces of the war, 13 of them attained that status while flying the MiG-21. Only 3 North Vietnamese Airmen gained Ace status while flying the MiG-17. Bell UH-1D Spain Air Force Texture for the Model of Deane Baunton

The G was essentially a C model with a shortened solid nose housing .50 cal machine guns and the Colt M4 75mm cannon. The nose .50s were primarily used for ranging and targeting the 75mm. In the field the ventral turret was removed, extra nose, tail and waist guns were added, as well as added armor plate protection for the cockpit. The 75mm was deadly against ships and enemy ground installations. This is an original model of the North American B-25G. The aircraft features a shined and multi-LOD MDL and full animation. Textures by the incomparable Sopwith Chameleon. She carries standard bomb armament (Dbolt's), my B25 AI Bombs, as well as torpedo and an aux fuel tank by Pen32@Win. All included in the download. A set of blank textures has been included for repaints. The active MDL file is shined, but an unshined version (extension MNS) has been provided in the Model folder for those who prefer a flat weathered finish.

The package is based on the former ALPHA Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA. The plane, represented in the package, is a Twin Wasp-powered Beaufort Mk.IIA, arranged for using as a level-bomber. The modifications include new gauges set, some changes in VC, new pop-ups (start-up panel, ECU panel, electric panel, aimer/navigator panel, padios panel, WWII era navigation system panel, etc.), two new liveries, Twin Wasp sound, an optional bombing mission with a related flight plan. NO CHANGES IN THE ORIGINAL FLIGHT MODEL, which is perfect. For details read the Pilot's Notes.

Ireland EIKN Knock Airport. Ireland West Airport Knock is a small international airport located in the west of Ireland. Ryanair, and AerLingus are the main carriers, serving routes within Ireland, the UK and 'beyond'. The runway is 7,500 long and has landed 747's in comfort. Passenger numbers amounted to almost 600,000 in 2010. The area is incredibly scenic with nearest airports at EISG Sligo and EICM Galway. For added realism, visibility should be set to between 10 and 20 miles with cloud cover down to 2,500 feet and it rains two days in every three. It faces the atlantic ocean, so it is also very windy, or download real world weather. The airport and scenery has been designed to work with VFR Photographic Scenery Volume 10. This scenery is a little too green so I find it best to fly at dawn or dusk. I would also recommend downloading my Ireland Static Object Library from Simviation which adds further objects, such as, fencing, gates, fuel trucks, etc. George keogh

FSX (only!) Scenery harbour of the Lindau peninsula. Here, at one of the most beautiful harbour entrances in the world, stands the one lighthouse of Bavaria and the monument of the Bavarian lion. Lindau is on Lake Konstanz at the most southern part of Germany. The lake is shared with Austria and Switzerland. The scenery shows you original restaurants and hotels, a passenger ship, sailing boats, a Zeppelin NT, produced in the nearby city of Friedrichshafen and a train at the railway station. The passenger ship, MS Schwaben, is included as ai-ship and as a very simple pilotable version with photorealistic nav bridge. A saved Flight is also included. Scenery and vessels by Erwin Welker.
