This airfield represents an actual airfield used by the USAF. It was originally constructed as a bombing and gunnery range until its deactivation after WWII. It was then re-activated by SAC from 1949 until 1975. Today, it is used by the Dept. of Interior as a wildlife refuge. I built the airfield based on Google Earth Images. See the readme for additional details. You will need AFCAD2.21 to modify and use the airfield.

FSX/Acceleration/P3DV3/FS2004 German frigate F222 Baden Wuerttemberg, a new vessel of the German F125-class. The package contains a pilotable and three ai-versions; one with a MH-90 helicopter doing take off and landing training. The ship is launched in 2014 and has a length of 150 m. It is armed with a 127 mm, two 27 mm and five 12.7 mm remote controled maschine guns plus Harpoon missiles and carries two Sea Lynx or MH-90 helicopters. The pilotable version has more than fourty moving parts, a complete realistic virtual nav-bridge plus a matching 2D bridge. The animations shows movements of the helicopter, Harpoon missile launches and a Zodiac boat moved down to the water surface. Twenty five camera views let you explore all decks and the virtual bridge, let you operate all weapons and the helicopter. The gauges are made by Pierre-Jean Carosin. This is based on a real Cessna 170B that my friend flies. Also comes with red cockpit lights. Credits go to A.F Scrub, as this is mostly his model, I just did the repaint. This is my first texture, so it's far from perfect.

CFS2 RA-5C Vigilante. Requires the CFS2 Jet Base files here otherwise this aircraft will not show. Planned in late 1950's as a successor to the AJ-1 Savage, the Vigilante prototype first flew in 1958 and was decades ahead of its time, with many 'firsts' such as a digital computer, INS, slab tail and variable inlets and much more. Although conceived as a bomber, the USAF soon adopted the nuclear strike role which meant the A-5 was used soley for the recon role. The RA-5C was used in Vietnam (18 were lost) and continued in service until 1980. Model Designer : Michael Davies. 1.7MB

CFS__ P_38m "Night Lightning". The P-38M, a dedicated night fighter derivative of the P-38L. The P-38M Night Lightnings were a factory design which followed a number of successful field conversions in New Guinea and Guadalcanal, where P-38Fs were fitted with SCR-540 or APS-4 search radar. The P-38L to M rebuilds involved fitting a cramped 'piggyback' radar operator's station aft of the cockpit, under a bubble canopy, and mounting an AN/APS-4 air intercept radar in a cylindrical pod under the nose, the mounting derived from the standard wing pylon. Seventy five P-38L-5-LOs were rebuilt to glossy black P-38M-6-LOs in late 1944, and deployed to the Pacific theater in 1945, too late to score any kills. This F-Sim Model has fictonal markings.
