The basic Mk V was a Mk I with the Merlin 45 series engine. After take off from WASP, BR 123 had to turn back to the carrier while the rest of the Spitfires got airborne. This was the first landing of a Spitfire on a carrier deck, which was quite a feat without an arrester hook. In 2005 a flight to Malta was organised in a restored Spit BM597. This is an update for the Grosskampfbomber Albatross G3 recently posted and updated for FS9 and FSX by A. F. Scrub. Due to incorrect contact points though, the plane was rampaging on the runway, nose in the ground and tail up in the air. This update has fixed that issue. It also features an entirely reworked VC and a new 2D panel as well as added exhaust smoke. All updates by Michel Pook. Credits go to A.F. Scrub for his FSX update. This is the whole aircraft. The model will work in FS9 and maybe in P3D,Version3.

FSX Curtiss F9c Sparrowhawk with updated panels

This is a panel update for the Curtiss F9C Sparrowhawk by Paul Clawson. The package features both an entirely re-worked and enhanced VC and 2D panel. The panels are based on Erwin Welker's earliar "yellow panel" modification for the Boeing Stearman and contain David Eckart's gauges he used for his FSX update of the Stearman, which are a little more authentic than the ones of the original Sparrowhawk by Paul Clawson. New smoke effect has also been added. Original model by Paul Clawson, new panel configurations and smoke effect by Michael Pook.
