FS2000 Beechcraft D-18 is truly a workhorse of the skies. Being produced from the late 30's to the late 60's, it has proven itself in its many roles This particular paint scheme is modeled after a Beech the company I flew for had. It is a freighter version and has had many mods applied to it. I was able to duplicate some of them, but I can't make the nose longer! The original had a longer, sleeker nose which really made her look good. In addition to that, some windows were removed and a crew excape hatch was installed on the port side of the plane. All uneccesary items were removed from her as well as the soundproofing. She was loud inside! To the best of my knowledge the aircraft is still around, but I do not know what condition she is in.
