ISDT ATR72-500 repaint for Air KBZ by Phyo Pyae Sone Air KBZ(Air Kanbawza) is a one and a half year old Myanmar domestic carrier based at Yangon International Airport with a fleet size of four ATR72-500s(XY-AIT,XY-AIW,XY-AIY and XY-AJC). The carrier is receiving one more ATR72-500 and one ATR72-600 in 2013. Taking off her very first commercial flight on April 2nd 2011, to this date AIR KBZ has unveiled 15 destinations altogether.Destinations during the initial phase include Yangon, Nyaung U, Mandalay, Heho, and Myeik. With the support of the valued customers and dedicated employees, as of today the airline has expanded its operation to Nay Pyi Taw, Kalay, Myitkyina, Lashio, Tachileik, Kyaing Tong, Dawei, Kaw Thaung, Thandwe and Sittwe. AIR KBZ aims to have more than 20 destinations in the near future, covering all the commercial centers of Myanmar.

FSX/FS9 texture update for my Ilyushin-38 addon (IL38-camo.zip). The russian 4-engine sea Patrol and anti submarine airplane Ilyushin- 38 is based on the very reliable IL-18 passenger airplane and was exported to India. My update is in fictional camo-scheme for Indian Navy and replaces only few textures from my russion version. The original flight model is made by makc-sims. Bitmaps by Erwin Welker.

"imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. It has all new terminal buildings, parking area, and redoes the hangar area as well. It more accurately depicts the Hilo airport, and has much better night lighting effects. It also includes the rental car area, a heliport for touring the volcanoes, hangars, a cargo area, four static aircraft, and proper placement of the control tower. It should work fine with the previous AFCAD files of the airport, and any runway signs you may have added. It is also more user friendly on frame rates! 1.6MB
