FS98 version Soviet Airforce An-22 "Antei" Version 2.0 This model s/n 05-10 was the only An-22 ever to fly in a camouflage livery, the rest flew in a civil Aeroflot livery. The Antonov An-22 is the biggest turboprop plane ever build in serieproduction. In total 68 were build, the first one made it's maiden flight in 1965. It has four turboprop engines which drive large contra-rotating propellers, each with a diameter of 6 meters (20 feet). The An-22 set a number of world records, including no fewer than 14 payload-to-height marks on one occasion in 1967. Flightsim version is designed up to the limit of AF99/AA, almost 1000 parts, 12 sided main fuselage, detailed and accurate textures, accurate flightmodel, moving contra-rotation props, moving flaps. I design this panel using the default FS2000 gauges. The Hobbs meter gauge is thanks to the utility of Scott Macmillan in Scotland. The plane is my original paint from 1996 yeah you heard right! 1996 from the original AFX file supplied to me directly by the original author. Developed from the successful AA-1, the AA-5 was an enlargement of the outside and the cabin of the AA-1 to create a four seater with 2/3 commonality of parts. The design was further improved by more powerful engines to create the AA-5B and AG-5B. This 1978 model was delivered to Cabair in 1979 as G-BGFI and went through various owners in this novel color scheme before moving to Germany in 2015 as D-EBGA. Painted on to Tim "Piglet" Conrad's AA-5, the color scheme reminds me of a certain large airline.
