FS2002 Douglas DC-3 Royal New Zealand Air Force NZ3551 NZ3551 (c/n 16963/34223 USAAF 45-0960 DC-47B-45-DK 14/08/1945) joined the RNZAF's 42 Squadron in November 1953. She was converted to VIP configuration for the Royal Visit in 1953/54. NZ3551 was presented to the RNZAF Museum, Wigram in 1978 and remains there today in her RNZAF VIP colour scheme. BREGUET 1050 ALIZE Flew her maiden flight on the 5th of october, 1956, powered by a Rolls-Royce turboprop. She was fitted with an american radar. On the 15 of november, 1957, the French Navy Air Force took reception of its first Alize to test it. One hundred aircraft were supposed to be delivered but only 75 of them reached the French Navy Air Force due to a budget cut.
