FS2000 Dehavilland DHC-8-202 ver 5 The Australian Customs Service has a small fleet of these aircraft fitted with surveillance radar, TV Pod with a FLIR and a transparent emergency hatch for observation and photography. FS2004 Vanguard 952F Air Holdings Textures only. With quite a few unplaced Vanguards on their books, Air Holdings decided to operate some the aircraft in their own right. This aircraft had been conveted to "Merchantman" standard by the company so was pressed into service wearing the livery of British Air Ferries who at that time was owned by the group. Carrying Air Holdings titles, its career as such was brief lasting from August 1971 until January 1972 when it was sent off to join Air Trader of Sweden as SE-FTH. Later it served with Europe Aero Service as F-BUFT, then Air Gabon as TR-LBA, before ending it's days in a crash at Marseilles in Feb 1989 as F-GEJE of Inter Cargo Service. FS2004 BAC One-Eleven 412 Lanica Textures only. One of four One-Elevens operated by Lineas Aereas de Nicaragua this was the only one bought new. Possessing the apt C/N of 111 it was delivered in April 1967 replacing a leased Aer Lingus series 208 that had been operated since the previous November. This aircraft had to be hastily replaced in December 1971 by a Court Line series 518 when the interior was burnt out in a hijacking. The aircraft returned to Hurn for repairs in January 1972 and was sold as an executive jet in October of that year. The Court Line machine continued until March 1972 when LANICA leased an ex American Airlines series 401. Exactly a year later that machine was returned for sale to Bahamsair ending LANICA's short, but eventful time with the type. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 400 model by David Maltby here. Convair 340 twins were introduced to the Venezuelan airline AVENSA in 1953 for a new service to Miami, Florida. The close association with Pan American Airways was already apparent in the external liveries of all aircraft and the new Convairliners were also painted in the familiar blue striped decoration.
