Chilean Air Force - Fuerza Aerea de Chile.
The Ryan Navion L-17 is one of the most unknown planes of the Chilean Air Force.
All the information that I could find, has by source a profile published in the Revista Fach (Magazine of Chilean Air Force) N¨U 152, 1980.
The Chilean Ryan Navion L-17 registration #01 was in service between 1948 to 1961. This plane was used as presidential plane by Carlos Iba¡Àez del Campo and Jorge Alessandri Rodriguez, on quick internal travels, mainly during earthquakes and other natural disasters.
The Ryan Navion was known with the own name of "Canelita" (little cinnamon), due to that the big presidential plane, the Douglas DC-3 #901, were called "Canela" (cinnamon).

The 737 became the best-selling commercial jetliner worldwide when orders for it hit 1,831 in June 1987 (surpassing Boeing's own 727 as the previous champ). However, it wasn't always that ways in the first few years of production, there were so few orders that Boeing considered canceling the program. They didn't, and the airplane has more than proven itself in over three decades of service.Requires the FREEWARE aircraft by Vistaliners.
